I absolutely hate the idea of the new secret lair system. The entire idea was print to order until time was up, and now they're just inducing more FOMO to try and garner more impulse buys. Also hardly anyone complained about the shipping time except for things that kept getting delayed like the first SL deck

Wow, I knew I was on stream when I got matched into by Seth but I didn't realize I was the first match of the stream, definitely threw playing it up for the camera. At 19:05 putting cavern on Brushwagg for the memes ended up biting me when I opted for doing a double Topiary Stomper line which had been clogging up my hand instead of the Sunfall I had drawn off the top.... except I forgot I needed 4 green and my cavern wasn't on Dino to help me (though this line still lost to the topdeck for exact lethal). At 26:15 I played the binding and my exact draw was the island which would have cast the Jace for full cost, so in my mind my hand was extremely weak, but it was funny seeing Seth's reaction. I think my biggest punt was not compleating the Nissa to play more around Make Disappear, and that rip of Duress off the top for my Sunfall was an absolutely brutal punish. And then I ended up being a mana short for Boseiju + Cycle + the Topiary off the top, and I knew at 1 I was dead 90% of the time so I just threw the Boseiju out lol. Regardless was very much GGs, I probably would have put up a better fight if I wasn't thinking of funny creature types to name with Cavern but that's on me for not doing the necessary research!

I'm so glad you did this deck, I was hoping for someone to do a solid vampires deck in stadard. For the limited print runs, The angel deck was limited and you could get it even like 4 days after the fact. And the value was at least double, now more.

I think Tiny Leaders was a few years too early. We've had SO many commanders printed over the last few years, the options are near-endless. Also, I think the 50 card deck size was a weird choice that made decks feel even more homogeneous. Should have gone with 60. I'd like to see it make a comeback.

From what i read, only the uber rear-seat passengers were killed, it seems like the uber driver survived somehow.

Back in the day there was a deck called Parfait that was bassicly mono white stax with land tax. It won with Sacred Mesa or Goblin Charbelcher. Maybe Something like that could work in timeless?

Sometimes a secret lair is the most affordable way to get a card, like the just add milk ulamog. The new secret lair method could ruin that

I love me some Land Tax, I used to play it in a mono white prison deck. Sadly very there are too many key cards missing from Arena and some will never get there like Armageddon and Balance. And there are much better finishers out there than Sacred Mesa nowadays.

If they were to make "Pioneer horizons" they would have to change how horizons sets work for legal cards imo, for instance only having it be legal in the set it was made for, commander, and vintage and that's it. Would allow them to directly address problems in those formats without accidentally breaking another format

Some Alchemy cards are fun and fair but the most played ones ALWAYS feel like fake cheating cards. The fact they make REAL copies of other cards or "perpetually" modify things makes them so far and above better than regular cards that they never feel fair. Like MH2 had that legend that generated TOKENS of black lotus and such but only once a turn and no extras and THAT was considered to be OP. Alchemy is just like play this nonlegendary bird and you get every single power nine shuffled into your deck (which just between you and me it's gonna 90% of the time be the immediate next card you draw) and they're real cards you can easily loop. The worst damage they've done is in Brawl where they ALWAYS feel unfair.

Can't wait for the Captain marvel Planeswalker that's indestructible, hexproof, static ability that makes all male creature cards and planeswalkers into 0/1 goats, +2 to draw 3 cards, +1 to deal 5 damage to any target, -5 to exile all opponents from the game. And she will cost 3 colorless mana and start with 4 loyalty.

Alchemy would not irritate me if alchemy cards would stay in the damn alchemy format and not bleed into historic. People just run alchemy cards for free bonus card draw with no downsides. It's really dumb when you're running a standard historic deck and some asshole in white is drawing 3 extra cards every turn.
