FUN FACT: That 08/09/99 edition of RAW IS WAR in Chicago was the same RAW that Chris Jericho made his WWF/WWE debut in a segment with the Rock. I remember it like it was yesterday.

1999 was a year that I don't have much memory of, so to see these shows here and now is pretty awesome.

One of my most surreal memories is waking up on a summer day and coming downstairs to find my sister watching MTV. She was watching the Powerman 5000 "When Worlds Collide" video, and in a box in the corner of the screen was the Rock, cutting a promo about how he was going to kick the ass of everyone in the video. I was unaware that there was any kind of WWF week happening on MTV, so I was quite perplexed as to what I was seeing.

The one wrestler that became a WWF Superstar was "Bobcat" Cynthia Lynch. You can see her @ 4:33 She was The Godfather's ho that won Hardcore Championship from Crash Holly and lost it right back to Crash Holly. Her title reign lasted 15 seconds. She was married to Al Snow from 2009-2016.

JR Ryder also became a WWF Superstar...but only wrestled as a jobber in dark matches and Saturday Night Shotgun

*Super Cringe especially when Mankind said the geek and boogalulu had to go..they were horrible I’m surprised they even made it to the finals.*

This seems like a Tough Enough dry run. At least they went to schools and got wrestlers, and didn't just take people off the street.

LOL Rusev wasn't in this at all. He was only 15 years old at the time, and was still in Bulgaria. What ever gave you the idea Rusev was on this show?
