Some systems will come with the split shaft as seen here, others will be with the original 100" long shaft.
All you need is the Motor Kit and your favorite motor, Honda, Harborfreight Predators etc.

Mud-skipper has two types of cable - stranded wire and solid wire

Just purchased DuroMax XP16HPE 16 hp electric /recoil start engine & the Easy Longtail mud motor kit 8-16 hp 2 pc shaft. How do I connect the throttle. ALso cannot hear any sound on this video

I built a duramax motor with mine the throttle isn't to hard to hook up if ya need help let me know and I'll help ya out

+Jake Fryberger We can use all the help we can get. We were advised by another that the throttle was 'crap' and not to bother. At this time we have followed that advice as I would prefer not to destroy anything.

I will take a small video tomorrow afternoon and show what I did. I did rob parts off of the solid cable to make the braided line work. On the throttle lever there is a hole about in the midle of it. I took and used ferrule off the solid line that holds it in the handle in this hole and ran the braided line through it then there should be right behind the air filter a bracket with a nut welded to it get a bolt that fits it and drill a hole in it and feed the braided line through then slide the poly cable cover through the handle and then feed the line through it. It works fine e I just doesn't work like a clutch handle you have to push it to pull the throttle higher
