Today I head off into the wilds to search a area littered with exciting pottery and fragments of history . It was a great day. We had a lot of fun in the mud and found some nice stuff. Guns, pipes, bottles, police and mud! Bloody Mary! What a day!

That whole tobacco pipe was fantastic, an early one I think. The bottles were great as always, especially the one with the marble in the neck. That was a good to tell the police about the pistol. Had to work earlier, but am watching now. 😢 love that small bottle. Great new look. Like that small green barnacle encrusted bottle. Beautiful.would have loved to do a meet up. See you someday. Will be in England next year I think.

I love, love the music. Very fun video. Wild adventures! Tide locked, boot loss, and someone got rid of a gun! The sound was weird though. Congrats on your speech on the 17th! It's always fun watching your videos. Sorry for the loss of your finds. It's a good thing the gun was pretty much intact, serial numbers and all. Evidence like this can be usefull. Looking forward to the next adventure!

I also watch a channel called fact feast. He does videos about the past, mostly Victorian era. One-time he did a video about mudlarking! I wouldn't have imagined anybody was still doing it! It's quite exciting! One more thing I must say, as an American I have a bit of trouble understanding the young people sometimes! Anybody over 30 I don't seem to have a problem understanding. Isn't that odd?❤ thank you!

Those bottles are they thrown away because of faults during production or that people didn't need them in the en any more. Down her we pay a "statiegeld"so we are suppose to bring them back to the shop ans get a refund. (25 cent)

Adam, complimenti per il video, per il canale e il tuo passatempo di ricerca nel fango di oggetti di tutti i tempi. Mi hai fatto ricordare quando diversi anni fa (oggi ho 55 anni), quando alla tua età, mi mettevo gli stivali di gomma neri e andavo con qualche amico nel fango a giro per le colline ed i torrenti che si trovano alle spalle della mia città (Livorno - Italia). Si andava a giro in moutain-bike per andare a trovare i posti più sperduti per giocare e trovare oggetti. Non ho video, solo qualche foto da cercare . Ciao.

You both really need to get yourself a pair of mudders or make a pair of mud pattens. Also a decent bucket and tough rubber backpack. It makes life so much easier 👍

When you said Got a mug, at about 42:00 you sounded like Popeye the Sailor. Do you have him there? Robin Williams played him in a movie years ago. I was born in Wokingham and lived in Egham but my parents moved us to Minnesnowta ‘Murrica when I was 5 or 6. There was some debate as to my survival had I stayed. The jury is still out. I remember bits like feeding the swans on the Thames with me Gran. I had my head smashed in a gate by an angry kid named Ian. We both lived on Hythe Road in Staines. Where are ya ya bugger? I enjoyed the video..did you lose that cool nail?

Hi Adam, I love your videos. I too have an interest in antique bottles and things. What kind of handgun was that? It looks sort of like a Smith and Wesson automatic. What did the police end up saying? I have a hard time with the accents in the video. That pistol must have been discarded recently as it was relatively clean. 😊

I recall you having a laugh or two, when your buddy fell in the mud. I guess it was your turn today. I suggest you carry a backpack with a plastic bag inside every few finds stop and put them in your backpack and zip it up that way no loss of all your finds

Adam you need to buy yourself those flat strap on mud paddles like what the Mudpies use. You can walk quicker over the mud without sinking, just a thought 😊 I hope you didnt lose the nail?

I watch a bit of metal detecting and the KZfaq algorithms decided to send this my way very fun video! I'm from the USA and I have to admit I had to look up several of the words he said he kept saying "what a liberty" I'm not sure what that means. I'm curious where exactly is his accent from? The only English person I know is from Bath and the accent is very different.

Nice finds! 😮but could you please work on your speaker on my end it’s acting crazy and is very difficult to understand what your saying. It almost acts like you have it covered up with something and then it act like another radio or speaker is cutting in or drowning you out. Kinda drives me nuts the way it sounds.❤
