@@nsasupporter7557 😂😂😂😂😂 Don't make me laugh. It's not about a deep or deeper voice. It's about the voice that fits a regal role. Elliot has been playing mostly westerns all his life and that's what fits his tone of voice. He recently was in a Dorito commercial with a western styled setting. He is not a versatile actor as such. He is the typed cast actor in a certain role. Jones has played kings and warlords. Orson Welles is even better than Elliot. I mean he was the original choice for Vader. It's not about whose voice is better it's about the voice that connects to the character. Can't see Jeremy Irons or Morgan freeman playing Vader. But these men have deep voices as well. No one wants our precious Mufasa sounding like an old Alabama drunkie 😂😂. James earl Jones voice all day.

@katerinadicamella Fun fact: originally, one of the initial offers for Scar was made to DAVID BOWIE. I totally get it, and I think he would've had fun with the "You're so weird/You have no idea" moment, in particular. The problem was that he was already a bit behind schedule with his album at the time, and he didn't want to cause further problems with his record company. (2/29/2024)

I was blown away when I learned Ernie Sabella was Pumbaa. I remember him from Saved by the Bell. He played Mr Karosi, the owner of the resort the gang worked at. He was also the father of the girl Zack was interested in while working there.(Stacy)

The 1994 voice cast was the A-list of 90s entertainment. Mr. Bean, Darth Vader, JTT from Home Improvement, Whoopi, Winnie the Pooh (and every conceivable thing else Jim Cummings is known for, even if you don't know it), Cheech (of Cheech and Chong), and Ferris Bueller himself. WOW

They were really lucky with the voice cast. Matthew Broderick is amazing as Simba, Nathan Lane and Ernie Sabella killed it as Timon and Pumbaa Rowan, Atkinson is fantastic as Zazu James Earl Jones is incredible as Mufasa and Jeremy Irons is so phenomenal as scar

This movie holds a special place as my grandparents took me to see this movie when I was 7 when it 1st came out. I lost both of them, but whenever I watch this movie I go back to the day we went to the movie and it brings a smile to my face. I will forever love this version of Lion King 🦁 I saw when it just came out and I still love it even now as an adult and I introduce it to all the kids around me .

I remember when I was 11 when this came out on the cinema My late mum took me and my school friend to see this in the South of England and it made me cry.
