I met Ali December of 1970 in Cherry Hill, NJ just prior to his Supreme court date. His was very serious then. Parkinson"s disease: A disorder of the central nervous system that affects movement, often including tremors. Nerve cell damage in the brain causes dopamine levels to drop, leading to the symptoms of Parkinson's. Parkinson's often starts with a tremor in one hand. Other symptoms are slow movement, stiffness, and loss of balance. Medications can help control the symptoms of Parkinson's.

I have never seen an opponent humiliated that badly without even being punched! At times he looks like he's taking a dive but he knows he has to punch but he also knows he's getting worn down quickly. If he gave Ali everything he had he'd be gassed before the end of this video and in real trouble!

I've started boxing in around 1984 and Ali was a big inspiration to me. I could dodge a few punches before I'd get hit. I won a few fights and all but I'd never beat Ali with his speed and power.

In this fight he was just clowning around. It was an exhibition match and Ali usually wanted to entertain the audience. Hence he would not finish off his opponents in one or two rounds. Also Ali said he always wanted to win on points and not by causing life threatening injuries to his opponents.

Imagine giving up your career to conscientiously object to a war that proved to be wrong. Giving the best years you had....and a king's ransom in money. When Ali came back 4 years later....he was flat footed and lost a lot of speed and stamina. And was still the best.
