Nice! I've been following your videos lately. I just finished converting my old 2510 to a mechanical fuel pump. I replaced the factory fuel tank with a spun aluminum tank. So far, this has fixed most of the problems, but I still need to do the brakes. I'm looking forward to seeing you do that! Thanks!

What fuel pump and fuel tank did you use? Still trying to get all the rust out of my fuel tank.

@@mjmcomputers The tank shown in the pic has a cap toward the end. The tank I received actually has a center mounted fill cap. This worked better than the end mount fill cap. I'll make a video to show details and post a link.

What is the difference between the petrol and diesel torque converters? Can the petrol converter be used on the diesel to get a lower ratio and more torque while reducing top end?

I’m not sure if there is a difference and if there is what the difference is. I can’t see the diesel being geared lower and giving you more torque though. I’d assume they are either the same or geared higher since the diesel may not rev as high.

Congrats! Btw I have one of these and it doesn’t seems to be moving slower than it should. Do you have any ideas as to what could be causing this?

Thanks, stuck in low range? The belt could be worn that will cause it to be slower. Mine was slow but it was only running on one cylinder.

What did you do to increase the power? You said the first time you fixed it that it was slow

In a previous video I did a compression test and found 1 cylinder with 0 compression. I found 1 pushrod off and put it back and adjusted the valves.

I just ran across your channel and you have inspired me to start trying to get my 2500 running. I bought it 3 years ago from my sons best friend, the mom and dad got a divorce and it was in the moms garage .i kept bugging her about selling . And one day my sons friend said my mom wants to sell mule , he said she wants 300 dollars !!! I tried not to get too excited. Anyway ive had it for 3 years and i didnt know were to start . But watching you im starting on it 😁
