Hello Pascal glad to see you have returned i think this is a pretty handy machine but should definitely have a guard that covers the blade completely like a full size table saw does especially if it runs when running the chuck i have looked at these also I would like to have a small chop saw for brass and aluminum stock
@satorrotas2 жыл бұрын
This table saw comes with other blade for plastic, brass and aluminum which will be good for my constructions. But before, you really have to do more safety, I have already started and I would do another video on this circular saw once the job is finished. There is also the part where there is the engine which is not protected, and the tools come to magnetize on it which is also very dangerous. But once securing this machine will be really very practical 😊 Thanks for watching and good comment my friend 😊👍

Looks fairly dangerous to me! And cutting with the sliding miter gauge, and the other end of the wood against the rip fence is just asking for super dangerous kickback! But removing the fence also removes the blade “protection” (its a stretch to call it protection!)! This was a great, honest review! An Amazon find I guess?
@satorrotasАй бұрын
I agree with you, it's a dangerous machine, I bought it on banggood and I wondered how we could sell this kind of machine without any protection and besides I talk about it in this video. But by purchasing this machine knowingly (from a safety point of view) I already had my idea to remedy all these problems. I also made another video on all the improvements I made to this machine which is now very good for small woodwork. Thank you for your kind comment 😊

Let me preface with, all saws are dangerous. That said, are these mini saws really that bad? I was thinking of getting one. Is it a bad idea to buy one ?
@springfieldFlute Жыл бұрын
Hi there, thanks for showing the item, helps a lot to imagine how small the item is when I have never seen or owned such a mini saw. At the 10 minute mark, you were showing the wood kicking back, that's actually because you're touching the wood you are pushing through the blade to the wall to the left. If there was no wall, the wood would just be sitting there and not kicking back towards you. Rule for table saws, and I think this is the same too, to not use both the wall plus the mitre to cut anything, as the saw continuously spins and the wood will get pushed to only one direction when being in contact with the saw. The wall gives another point for the wood to be leaning against and pushes to you. If anyone were to need to cut a longer piece than the 7 cm length, it would be far safer to take out the wall on the left, and just use the mitre while wearing safety glasses.
@satorrotas Жыл бұрын
Well thank you for this information, it is true that I am not used to using these mini machines, but it is certain that this guide on the left is used to cut a board lengthwise and not really to cut as I do on the video. Besides, I even put the guide upside down at the start of the video lol, which I then corrected. In the end I prefer to use my big table saw that I have in my workshop, at least I can adjust the blade height which is not possible on this mini table which I find quite dangerous. In another video I modified the tray and also made a cover for the saw blade which is much safer, but in the end I almost never use it, so it's a purchase that is not very useful to me.

Very dangerous.Also, if you use the mitre gauge to push the wood through the blade then you do not need to use the fence, one or the other, not both. That is why your piece of wood was getting stuck between the blade and the fence. Very dangerous. Next time, remove the fence. Good luck to you!

@@satorrotas You're very welcome. Look at 'tablesaw kickback' on YT. It makes perfect sense, and will keep you SO much more safe. Cheers.

Thanks. I just watched two videos on tablesaw kickback, it's very informative. They are very dangerous machines, I don't use them often but I try to be very careful when I work with them.

What is the name of the model? Why is it not in descr or title? Awful.
@satorrotas2 жыл бұрын
Simply because it has no name, apart from "mini table shaw". I give you the link, you can check for yourself : usa.banggood.com/Multifunctional-Small-Cutting-Mini-Table-Saw-DIY-Woodworking-Angle-Table-For-Metal-Cutting-Carving-p-1891048.html?imageAb=2&cur_warehouse=CN&ID=47184&rmmds=search&a=1658586007.8056&DCC=US¤cy=USD&akmClientCountry=FR

Sorry pal but it seems to me that you need a bigger piece of kit for the larger pieces you want to cut !!!!

It is certain and I agree with you, but I only use this saw for my dioramas. It is obvious that for heavy work one would need one on feet and which are intended for the work of large pieces of wood.

😄😄 No and it won't happen. I made several modifications to make this machine safer 😉

So what make and model is it? Basic information completely missing! 😳👎
@satorrotas3 ай бұрын
Really useless comment and really not nice, first hello, then if you had watched the video in full you would have seen that this machine comes from banggood and that there is no brand. Furthermore, when someone asks me for more information on this or that thing, I answer them with courtesy. Have a good day anyway
