As usual your videos are simple perfect and straight to the point. Can we add custom Search to the side of map to auto filter results ? I saw it on ultimate elements plugin suite but their map widget is not really and well linked to custom post types and acf. Thanks in advance

If they add a dynamic info section instead of click to post, it will be sick! It seems pretty easy since they can pull the post, it's just a matter of pulling data! I will buy this add-on anytime soon, it seems pretty powerful.

Great Paul !!! This plugin saved my life! I'll send you the web page as soon as finished. By the way sorry but you missed an important info. After creating the ACF GoogleMap field, you must populate it in the backend by input the right address for the record/post otherwise it will not link the pin point to the correct position indicated in the field.. :-)

More than likely providing they have some new features. I generally wait for a couple of revisions on any of the Jet plugins as the initial releases are not always that stable or full-featured.

Great Tutorial! Is it possible to filter the map according to certain criteria? E.g. you list different types of location there and want to display only one category.

Great run through of this plugin, made me buy if for a current project - however I stumbled upon a few snags: Tried to include the map in an Archive-template for a CPT, with CPT posts in a grid under it, and the maps turns blank and refuses to load pins. If I put the map on a regular page, and a grid of posts under it, it works fine - have you experienced something similar/tested it with archive templates? Also - I'm missing all settings for controlling what shows in the infoWindow - according to the developer you can show/hide title, image, excerpt etc for what shows in infoWindow when clicking on pin, but they are all missing - have you noticed something similar? I know you don't do support for this, but just wondering if it's just me experiencing this - have contacted the developer but no answer yet

What would you say is the ideal plugin bundle to create a dynamic real estate listing please? Thanks to your videos I now know that ELementor Pro, ACF, Dynamic Content, (for the dynamic Map), and Search & Filter plugin, (as you kindly pointed out to me as a cheaper alternative)? Do you think the last plugin will live up to FacetWP's functionality - always for a Real Estate search and filter mechanism. Thank you so much...

I am struggling to achieve a cluster using anything BUT the way you described in the video. I would prefer to produce maps based on a post-to-post ACF relationship. Company post displays a map of all its locations (location post type) which each have listed Google map locations. Can you point me in the right direction possibly? Thanks!

Epic. Thanx. Do you know if it’s possible to have like a hover behavior on the pins instead of link to post? Like when hovering seeing a elementor section template based on ACFs as well? You know like all the hotel sites has? Like seing a picture, rating etc?

Not yet, but I have spoken to the developers about it and will follow up with them as it is a really useful feature, especially if they could allow for ACF dynamic field shortcodes to be used to build your own hover content. That would be super powerful!

Hi Paul, I've spent hours trying to figure this out but things are different than when you made this 3yrs ago. There is no more AFC Maps widget and I can't get the address field I created (a text field) to populate the map. What are the chances of you doing another video on this?

Hello friend! Just watched this video - I must say that it was delivered so well. I will be having a look at your other videos. I am looking at building a tour guide web app. I am looking at using elementor and the map plugin that you have shown here. One feature that I need is directions to the point of interest (POI) from the users current location. Would you know how I would go about having this feature? Let say I have 2 columns: - The first column contents a Views widget with "Where - Exposed form" to let people filter posts. - The second column contents a Map widget with markers. Hi i have a problem my MAP is not showing on the front end of the site, im using ACF + Elementor pro, i got my API key and im sure the billing is installed on the API key. but still no map is showing on the front -end please help.

If I want to have 2 different color markers for say luxury apartments and affordable ones each on the same map, how do we go about this? And this is dynamic so buildings can be entered in anytime and should reflect on the map, please help? Thanks a ton!

Happy New Year to your too Helmut. :0) I'm not too sure about Crocoblock, this is the first plugin I've seen that can do this type of thing with ease. Filtering can be achieved using FacetWP and the Google Map addon. I didn't find that one as easy to implement as the method covered in this video. However, I will be looking at FacetWP in more detail in the coming months and will include the Google Maps addon as part of the guide.

Wondered where you beeeeen.. Another great vid from the Master.. Know what else would be nice, when hovering a pin where a small box appears showing other dynamic data, example Petrol Gas station Prices, or House Price or Address, etc.... plus wondering can this replace all the search features like Search & Filter Pro and FacetWp??? Just taking a little holiday break, but back now with a head full of new content ideas. :0) I agree, the on hover would be super useful and I've spoken to the developer in the past about this feature. I'll follow up next week and see if it's possible to add in an update and if they could build it in such a way that would allow us to use ACF field names to add whatever content we need.

Fernanda, I am having the same issue. ACF Google Maps is not showing as an option. I purchased Elementor Pro, dynamic, and ACF Pro. Dynamic Google Maps does however show as an option and I tried using this video to see if it would still work, but nothing. I definitely do not have something set up correctly.

Hi Paul. Just purchased the Dynamic Content via your link. I made an Google Maps account and pasted the API into Dynamic Condition plugin settings. I created the ACF field 'Google Maps' as described in you video above, but I can not type in any adresses in the 'Google Maps'-field in the custom post type post. It won't search any adresses and when I search it says Acces denied... :( Any suggestion on what I'm doing wrong?? Kind regards, Ruben

Firstly, thank you for using my link for the purchase, it's greatly appreciated. When it comes to Google Maps, they have made it a complete PITA to get working. The first thing you need to do is have a credit card associated with your Google account so that if you go over your quota, you get charged. It's a pretty high quota for free, but still a pain. If you don't have a card associated with your account you'll need to do that first to gain access to these features. Once that is done, if you still have a problem, the easiest way to find out what is going on is to open the Developers Tools in your browser and look for the error messages. F12 will generally open the DT section in a browser and look at the top for any error/warnings and click on those to see what the error being generated is. You can then search Google for the relevant solution in the Google help docs. There are a lot of possible errors, but the normal ones are to do with billing and no CC associated with your account. I had to jump through the same hoops while setting up this tutorial! P.S. Make sure you restrict access to your Google Maps API and associate it with your domain(s) to avoid unauthorised use of your API key.

@@WPTuts CC was added, so that wasn't the issue. I tried to add the API via PHP code in function.php and that solved the problem. Don't know why it won't accept it via the DC plugin...hhmmm... But thank again - can't wait for the relation tut to publish. That's the feature I asked for, a while ago :)

@@WPTuts : After some problems with "multiple API keys" I got it working fine. BUT do you know a way to submit the addresses from the frontend? I can submit a "text" address into the CPT, but that doesn't seem to work with the Google Maps ACF field. I also tried the PAFE field widget. PAFE also got an autocomplete via Google Maps option, but it won't transfer the selected address on to the Google Maps ACF field either. As if there a "Google Maps" type missing in the submit feature... Any suggestion? :)

I feel so stupid asking this - but I can't figure out how/where to put in my Maps API key to make this work? I'm getting a google maps error (in the ACF field in my page where we set the locations) and it sends me to get the API key - which I have set up... billing and all. The URL is registered in Maps in Cloud Console and connected to Search Console - am I missing something? Can't see any place to put the API Key in WP, Elementor, or ACFsettings.

i'm struggling with this too - please let us know if you worked it out. i put the key in the theme options section of my themes. trouble is, it works for the the normal elementor google maps widget, but it wont swallow the ACF google maps plugin , and refuses to activate it . i am nearly going out of my mind
