Wow, as a former bench jeweler, I found this video very informative. If I had the tools, I would definitely be able to follow your tutorial and make one of those. Great video!

I've learned, to get a uniform twist in your multiple wires, figure how long you want each strand to be, get that much wire for how many strands and how many sections you want, twist it all in one go, then cut to length, uniformity is best that way. And it makes the end product look that much better

I was not thrilled with 14+ ads that I had to watch to see this video (I suppose it's the price of "free" LOL!).😟 HOWEVER, it was an EXCELLENT TUTORIAL and demonstration 👍 and you did a great job explaining some of the things I wish had been explained to me when I first started making jewelry. I was wondering though if there would be less waste if the holes on your twister jig were closer together or would that not produce the best twisted result? Just curious before I give it a try. 🙂 Anyway, again... very good tutorial! 👍 Thanks so much for sharing! 😊

Isn't it a compass? Or do others call it a divider???
@FlatwearableArtisanJewelry
@FlatwearableArtisanJewelry Жыл бұрын
Technically, a compass is a drafting instrument that has one pen or pencil point and one sharp point that is positioned at the center of the circle to be described, while a divider, on the other hand, has two sharp points, one for the center and the other for scribing or marking.
