Maybe Strange simply pinched off the dreamwalk but didn't end it properly, and Zombie-Strange is just in a permanent slumped-over state unable to do anything. With that receiver left off the hook, it could be the ever-growing footprint of our Strange that causes an Incursion. Perhaps because of the dark magic connection it has tangled up the Dark Dimension as an unintended side effect.

Well, here's the formula... Darkhold Tower + Chaos(Dark) Magic + Scarlet Witch Body + Sorcerer Supreme Strange Variant Corpse + Souls of the Damned Sounds like an anomalistic disaster will come in the future

I agree, any type of reincarnation, through necromancy, always leaves residue. Idk if they'd go all the way through with Mr. Misery, but Marvel Zombies sounds like it would work. Also I feel like Nightmare could also be the next Fear Lord/He'll Lord to appear, we've technically had about 3 I think. Dweller, Hela, Dormomu, and I can't remember if the demon from Ragnorok is too.

I believe yes and no. He there but like Reed said a footprint too large is likely to cause an incursion and zombie strange isn't exactly leaving a big footprint since he's under all the rock.

I think that the ''footprint'' doesn't mean just being there. It means that the greater amount of time you spend there, the greater are the chances of someone screwing something up. It must've been a mathematical statement. It is not the only factor but it is the one that they could easily control.

@@AlDJoJr By footprint he probably meant effect a person has on that dimension. Which won't be a lot, since he arrived as a corpse.

i think no. since the 838 strange was only dreamwalking, then that would imply that his soul existing in the other universe was the cause of the incursion. assuming that mere existence in another universe is all that is needed for an incursion to happen. i think 838 strange was meddling in other universes, so. but if a the soul is all that's needed, than do not fear because defender strange is a dead, souless, corpse.

if anything, marvel says dr. strange sent the body back to his own universe and was most likely buried. but like everyone else is saying, that could potentially start marvel zombies. i think he'd probably be sent back before his "footprint" becomes to large and causes an incursion.

Sounds familiar... reminds me a bit of Army of Darkness. Good Ash kills Evil Ash, Evil Ash returns as an undead who raises, well, the Army of Darkness. And if Raimi is maybe making the next movie as well, I hope they let him from the leash this time... I mean, especially this crazy stuff like Zombie-Strange and the cloak made out of the spirits of the damned, that was one of the really good elements of the movie.

Hey , I have a question - why is the magic done by defender strange at the gap junction in a sort of celestial white colour? That is the same colour eminating from the book of vishanti and almost as same as the colour of America Chavez's magic , I first thought maybe it's because of the location but when the 616 strange showed off his magic at the gap junction it was not white , and the MCU has different colours denoting different types of magic like red for chaos , purple for dark and yellow for light magic so what does that white colour magic denote?

As they’re making an animated series of the what if episode, I don’t think they’ll bring it into the main mcu, aside from a background shot from another multiverse breaking scene, but I do think mr misery is a genuine possibility

I still think it's funny how the darkest magic you can do has rules, "Possessing a dead body is forbidden!" Like huh? Messing with dead stuff should be the most common practice of dark magic.

thats because strange forced those damned sould out of darkhold hold and put it on the body of dead strange and even if darkhold is destroyed since those damned souls are not bound to it anymore, its doean't matter darkhold destroyed or not to them🤷 but this only possible if they doesn't discard about what happened those damned souls at end of multiverse of madness in next movie

Ok sooooo according to Mr. Fantastic the longer a person stays in a different universe it increases the chance of an incursion…. So Protector Strange is from a different universe but his body remains in the 616…. Does the law apply to the physical body or just the living soul…. 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔

the what if series is as far as the marvel zombies will go. the overall apocalyptic impact of such an event would be too great for them to want to do that in the live action universe. so i doubt the zombie strange body would lead to that. in fact this, like most of your theories, is an exercise in overthinking. it's also possible that the dr. strange corpse went back to being a plain old corpse after strange quit dreamwalking and the spirits of the damned went back to where ever they came from. and do we even know if the mere presence of the corpse will cause an incursion? reed mentioned that their dr. strange caused an incursion, but i doubt he was hiding in a corner the whole time. he was actively messing with the other universe. so i'm not sure a lifeless corpse that's trapped under several tons of rock will have an impact on a universe. for all we know, that's the only experience with incursions they have.

It seems to me that Corpse Strange is now undead as the spirits of the damned still inhabit the corpse after Strange's mind left the corpse body. Strange is reckless 😂😂😂

Offscreen, strange and won’t send it back to Defenders universe to prevent a an incursion. Contaminated by the Darkhold magic- We will probably get this animated or even cooler go from live action to animated shot that starts off Marvel Zombies.

i believe that the multiverse of madness did not feature our Dr.strange or our Wanda (the ones we have been watching in MCU thus far). Instead they are simply their variants and this movie was marvel studios version of an exposition of the multiverse.

So....what I want to know is....what happened to the beard on Defender Strange when later turning into Zombie Strange, hmmm? I don't know if I missed one of your episodes that explains that but....I wanna know what happened to it? It couldn't have just...decomposed since he still had all/most of his hair.
