This feels like a season finale, right? Major arcs are wrapped. A hook for a looming wedding is set. End on a harmonious and wholesome note. I think after the stressful season behind, the writing staff used this filler episode to 'blow off some steam' with the #cafe #disco.

This is one those nice, stand alone episodes and is a feel good one which I like watching every few months. It involves one of Michael's usual off the wall ideas he is known for. And the slow pull of the characters to join the dancing to the finale with them having fun as a group, Jim/Pam changing their wedding plans, Phyllis' fears removed, Kevin getting some action and Angela's toe moving make it special. And it shows just much of a family the staff at DM are.

I like it when she attempts to get up and Dwight gently soothes her like a horse-whisperer: *"Whoa, whoa, girl. Whoa. Whoa."*

In defense of Erin, I love her interactions with Michael, super wholesome. I feel like she was added so he could somewhat have a genuine fatherly role to someone in the office that actually appreciated it.

I saw somewhere that she was only supposed to be on for a few episodes, but the writers loved the humor she brought in her small appearances and decided to make a permanent spot

Definitely one of my favorite episodes... they make the ridiculousness of this one work in my opinion, before that idea gets a little out of hand in the last few seasons

Next time: Our last taste of Michael/holly (do they have a branjelina name?) for another season and a half. I do wish charles had appeared in another episode other than this. Especially during the first half of season 6 with dunder mifflin failing. With how he treats Michael and jim, i wanted him to recieve karma and suffer (i really hated Charles). I love that ending of jim and pam at the hospital

To me, this is the season finale. Not only because it feels like it, but because I've never rewatched the picnic episode. Ever. Just watched it once and that was it. Weird, right? I know. Always skip it.

Idk why but for some reason I always skip this episode. Idk why but I can never really get connected to this episode, but it is kind of fun especially when everyone starts to dance
