Maha Metro is responsible for all the metro rail projects undergoing in Maharashtra except the Mumbai Metropolitan Area. The system is designed to reduce traffic congestion in the city, and supplement the overcrowded Mumbai Suburban Railway network.

Before leaving from Mumbai, please cover line 6 too.. one of the most important metro line in Mumbai, connecting line 2, 3, 4, 7, eastern expressway, Western expressway, sv road, lbs marg, and western and eastern railway lines 🤯 Also with double decker flyover

Looking at bhiwandi I can say it's such a congested area it would have been better if they had made metro from Nashik Highway it was full clear without any obstacles.

Lovely footage as usual. While most of the infra projects seemed to have gained pace- unfortunately this one is already 6 years and I'd say its only 25% of the work done. I don't see Metro running on this section before 2025- though I wish to be proved wrong.

Connectivity with metro 4 seems interesting. At kapurbavdi, I guess they are buidling total 4 tracks with option to switch lines without leaving the station.

I think this line's phase 1 is close to completion but still same old car shed issue is stopping it.. Shinde govt found place in middle of jungle but in this polluting area they are not able to finalise a place

Do u know that Thane district is the most populated district in India With estimate 1.25cr population kalyan, dombivli, ulhasnagar, bhiwandi, ambernath, badlapur mira bhayander, vasai, virar. All these cities have population of above 5lakh

Looking at phase 2 route from this video of Droneman, it seems UG wasnt actually required (except the stretch at Bhiwandi flyover).

@@anujkbudhkar I agree, much of it would have been fine with over-ground metro instead of expensive and slow tunneling. It'd be built faster, and be cheaper, and thus benefit the region. However, this is what happens when low-educated shopkeepers and grifters protest and complain about progress.

Line 12 however goes through Dombivli and Taloja MIDC, it does not go to Ambernath/Badlapur.

@@dronemanYT Yeah key was joining through to Taloja Diva-Panvel railway line/Navi Mumbai metro. Ambernath is a bit far out of the way. People from there can still travel to Khoni to get to this line.

Hi there I'm from Kalher well we all are super excited for the metro because I don't how our roads disappear in rainy season 😅 but I think actual Kalher and kasheli stations should be rearranged because station are to early sai baba mandir should be exact stop for Kalher because its most suitable for all people over here.. Just my personal opinion

Phase 1 will take 2026 December and phase 2 from Bhiwandi to Kalyan will take 2035 at least if it's going to get worked in first place, as mostly phase 2 going to get scrapped, as it's not the political scenario causing the problem this time ; but the people of that area are the big nuisance as they don't want things to progress especially the local transport lobby and resident businesses.

Bhai 3km tunnel (between Dhamankar naka - Temghar metro station) finalised ho chuka hai govt ki taraf se. Lekin underground krne ki wajah se Bhiwandi metro station ko cancel krdiya jo ke bahot important hai.

Kalyan station ke baju me jo construction work chalu hai wo metro ka nhi hai bro. Wo flyover and kalyan bus stop redevelopment ka kaam hora hai.
