U missed New Empire cinema which is just behind Capitol cinema. Both Regal & Capitol had the same management. There were six theatres around this area ( Strand- which had the best sound system system & where premium movies like Dr Zhivago, The Dirty Dozen,Where Eagles Dare,Oliver, McKenna's Gold were screened in 70mm.). Regal, Eros, New Empire , Sterling, & Metro Cinema. These theatres would screen only American movies from studios like MGM, Paramount, Warner Bros. 20th Century Fox, Universal Pictures & United Artists amoung others. The only theatres that did not have 70mm projection were New Empire & Metro theatres. I spent my entire college life in these theatres. Now of course I'm a sr. Citizen. I forgot to mention that Capitol cinema used to screen only Hindi movies There is one more theatre very close to Metro Cinema which is Liberty Cinema which also screened only Hindi movies except for the occasional English movie.
