The utter callousness of tge society and officials is responsible for such mishaps. Business people for their profits, officials for their bribes, and people and leaders for their indifference nature are to be blamed. The corporation officials are claiming that it was constructed without their permission. Is it not their responsibility to check and prevent such unauthorized, hazardous constructions? They should be booked under criminal law for their failure in safeguarding the lives of people.

@@navinrajshetty6991 but in mumbai it's too much. Handicapped persons also asked if they earn. No one is spared there. Not pregnant ladies , old ladies, small kids no one. Pregnant ladies are not even offered seats to sit . Such a pathetic city. I am glad I am out of it even for temporary. Imagine those 8 lives people earned so much and invested through flats etc but in one go it's all wasted gone. Those funds will stay stuck in bank account or some greedy distance family will come to claim it. If they had family than even they should be aware of it. Or else it will be eaten by banks . People of mumbai have stopped valuing human lives for money. I'll rather earn minimum wage and leave in my own non metro city then a place where your life has zero value .

Hoardings need to be properly designed for gusts of wind. However, in India, Engineering has become a joke ever since BJP came into power. Many of the top donors of electoral bond are engineering firms.
