Possibly my favourite episode so far! This episode was really pulling on my heart strings with Mumen Rider. His unwillingness to give up, want to fight for good, unrelenting drive - truly "unyielding justice". What a great guy! And loved that (besides Genos) he's the first to see that Saitama is a hero and befriend him.

No one seemed to really notice that the trashtalker was actually right about Saitama overshadowing the other heroes' contribution in terms of defeating the monster, but wrong about the other heroes as they did in fact buy time for Saitama to arrive. He was giving all due credit to Saitama which he deserved but Saitama refused to take it all and decided to accept his public perception as a "cheater" to elevate the status of the other heroes in front of the crowd. This episode was my personal most favorite as it defines the core value of being a hero, sacrificial and not seeking fame as the priority goal of being a hero.

Mumen Rider is loved because he has so much heart and is just morally good. It would be easy to be a hero if you're like Saitama and have no fear of ever being harmed, though I still think a character like him deserves praise because they don't have to use the power for good. They very well could use it for personal gain or for evil. But someone like Mumen Rider puts everything on the line and risks his very life to save others. We can all wish that the real world had more people like that.

this and the previous episode is my favorite episodes of all of One Punch Man. it has heart and emotions with Mumen Rider, it has ever evolving stakes and awesome fights with deep sea king fights, it has the bitterness of seeing how people still treat Sitama even after all he has done for them... these 2 episodes just perfect all around.

私は、このエピソードが、全エピソードの中で一番好きです。サイタマは、人々から愛されるヒーローになれたチャンスを捨てて、倒れた他のヒーロー達の名誉を守りました。どんな強い怪物を倒した時よりも、サイタマが格好良く見えました。

It proves that life and people have advantage/strength and disadvantage/weakness. Every super hero have fans in city but as superhero fighting they have struggling, same as Saitama can defeat everyone in easy way 1 punch, but he got struggle life that is all citizen people hate him. My point being is no one has a perfect life, which I like what they doing to Saitama to show he has struggling also.
