Back in like 2015 the owner of Monolith actually confirmed a Large Firearms Manufacturer actually bought the Prototype for the P-12 and he even went into detail about the design of the P-12 etc and how far he had gotten with it including its mag and the problems it may have presented and solutions etc, but due to 'brand images' the Firearms Manufacturer decided to just go 'lmao were never gonna make it' he offered to give the gun a redesign and better look but they turned him down. Turns out the reasoning was because low and behold Kel-Tec's KSG came around the same time and it was likely due to said fire arm company not wanting to compete against it that they backed out from going forward with the P-12. So in some alternate universe where the owner of Monolith sold to another company? The P90 Shotgun probably would be an actual shotgun that is produced and made by someone. The prototype still exists to this very day btw just locked away.

While fictional, Metros 2033 and Metro Last Light both had late game rifles with similar p90 inspired magazines (though they were chambered in 5.45x39). Hoping one day, some manufacturer will build something similar.

Florida based Kel-tec recently designed a P90 inspired pistol called the P50. From what I can gather Monolith Arms appear to have run into some legal trouble over them essentially cloning the P90's magazine design, both Kel-tec and AR57 just used actual P90 magazines.

I love how the P-12 is made by a company called Monolith Arms, and the only video game to feature a gun like it is FEAR 3, which is a Monolith franchise. It's like Monolith made a separate company to build a real-life version of their insane shotgun to promote FEAR 3.

Music sounds like something out of Spec Ops The Line. The Instruments make me think that.

I mean it is a great design, fitting 50 rounds of what is basically an intermediate cartridge in what is essentially a stock with a barrel is no small achievement, and since it's a bullpup the barrel is actually long enough to be fairly accurate.
