He discovered an alien-themed brothel, authentic Italian food right near the airport, and a tiki bar hidden in the heart of Vegas’ Chinatown.

Being originally from Lakewood, CA Andrew is right. I relocated to Vegas 8 years ago and live 5 minutes from the first two spots. I have to try it now. Crazy how much this whole guide spoke to my origins.

I work on the strip. Occasionally after work, my coworkers and I will head out to China town for food n drink. Some of the best spots in the city reside over there!

I’m in Chinatown all of the time for meetings, it’s Vegas’ best kept secret. I was just by Golden Tiki last night and the line to get in seemed longer than normal. That whole shopping center is a blast, I always take friends there when they’re visiting.

As a Vegas local and a massive foodie, i've only heard of the golden tiki off this list. Go to spots are Roadkill grill (John Mull Meats), L2 BBQ, Hong kong garden is like the OG for me and a lot of Vegas locals, but a lot of people go to Yum Cha instead now. There are literally hundreds of excellent Korean restaurants out here too. Sul and Beans has some crazy bingsu deserts, Cugino's deli near UNLV is probably my fav, but ive heard Good Pie is supposed to be good as well. Red Rice is good for Chamorro food, we have, I believe, the biggest mainland Hawaiian community, so we have tons of great hawaiian food. We have a ton of filipino food, I believe Max's is a pretty iconic filipino chain. All that aside, Andrew really hit the nail head on. The strip sucks, if you want a real Vegas experience go to china town, or downtown Vegas near the container park, or town square.

Did that breakfast burrito have a giant blonde hair on it? I swear I saw a long ass hair on it. Great video 👍. My kinda eats. If you guys are looking for straight fire in Houston, I'll recommend these places: Ninfa's, on Navigation St. BurgerTex, at Brittmoore Taqueria El Rojo Loco, on Collingsworth. BurgerTex will change your view on burgers.

Blue martini (next to milano) is awesome and that whole little shopping area is awesome too. This video is significantly more appreciable than the last one. Fully agree with the journalist, Vegas is so much more and better than the strip.

I'm from Vegas & lemmie tell you they are totally hitting the nail on the head! Not only are these great spots they visited but they area's choosen are packed w/ the secret jems Las Vegas offers. In fact, the best shoe store 🏬 🏬 filled with ONLY amazing rare and above exceptional kicks is in China Town LV. What I mean , is that go to any of these; three (or four) areas showcased here and just check out what's around. You'll find many many more gems, & all without having to Venture to the STRiP.

Lots of Hawaiian Restaurants in Vegas. Hit up Pacific Island Taste, a Hawaiian Restaurant on Sahara, east of the strip. Tasty food and friendly service.

Interesting...alien brothel. On my last trip through the southwest I hit Baker CA on my way back to Vegas and they have gone crazy with an Alien Jerky complex. Looks like they are building an alien theme mall.

@@autorepair2321 That's great that you had a one time great experience meeting him but don't discount his entire body of work on your one in person meet. I based my post on 3 things: 1) His entire staff hated him -- watch the episode with the Lawson Station egg salad sandwich in Japan. 2) He constantly fought/picked on other chefs. Bullying others because they have different opinions or do things differently doesn't make you better. 3) Watching his shows was entertaining but you could see how mean and arrogant he was. Bourdain was an angry recovering addict who bemoaned his early life choices. Funny, entertaining but not inspiring. Unlike Bourdain, Steve Chu doesn't make the show about himself.

That Italian place is kind of a high end place with not traditional food kinda of their own fusion ideas which isn't bad, if you want real good Italian in Vegas there's Battista's hole in the wall joint that's been here forever and the food always consist and delicious. Golden Tiki is pretty awesome but they should have tried Herbs and Rye, its where bartenders go. The drinks and food is great there. TASTE is honestly true Chinese food probably the best in Vegas, Its dominated by mostly Chinese customers and all you hear is Mandarin or Cantonese and maybe 1 or 2 people speaking English lol. They missed out on a lot places that's been here for decades that are local gems.

Born and Raised in Las Vegas.. I love my city. Milano is such a great restaurant! But, when they said "there is little authentic Italian food here" is so false lmao Vegas has had a lot of authentic Italian cuisine dating back to the 1980's. Do not want to say anything bad about this restaurant. It's extremely amazing!! shout out Milano at Town Square Las Vegas Also Golden Tiki is not a dive bar for locals. that's a historic spot within chinatown lmao Andrew is awesome.
