The name Uruz refers to the Ur that was an animal that lived in the past and exceeded the size of a bull, it is a symbol of vitality, strength and masculine vigor. Also the Uruz rune represents the end of one stage and the beginning of another, transition.
In the Nordic culture there was a ritual that consisted of the fact that when a boy was 15 years old, an Ur had to be hunted to mark the passage from boys to men.

Hearing that inspired me enough to make a bearded axe, because why not. I currently use it to process firewood

The last of Urs were living in Poland. Near year 1620, from horn of one of the last bulls in Jaktorowska Forest, Stanisław Radziejowski made the hunting horn, greeted with gold and silver. It was a gift to the king Zygmunt III Waza. The horn has been stolen by Swedes during Swedish Deluge. Nowdays you can admire the royal horn in Livrustkammaren museum in Stockholm.

Cool... can I be on the raiding party that brings down the globalist swine???? Would love to pillage those coffers..... On a very serious note.... We are coming into a very pivotal time in our existence. The people are waking up to the atrocities that have been committed against them. We all need to rise up, take our countries back and remove the filth from the earth. For too long, have we been silent. For too long have we been complacent. For too long, we have entrusted our well being to higher powers. The time is now, to remove the filth from our lives. Remove these shackles that the world has placed upon us. Let us ask the gods to help guide us back onto the right path, because this surely is not the intended way of our people's.

That is more than possible! You likely already know this, but sharing for others too: when the conquistadors from Spain came to the central and southern shores of the lands of the Condor, both African & Nordic traders - who were likely following an old tradition of intercontinental trade - fought side by side with the Aztecs against the Spanish colonizers. There have been paintings found amid material remains dated from that period that clearly portray the regional differences in appearance between African and Nordic people's of the time. This was vindicated, despite loud objection as it's a controversial claim that threatens established historical doctrine and cultural epistemology, by archaeological finds such as boats dating pre-Spanish colonization in several places in both central and south America built from the wood of a particular tree found only in western Africa, similar boat/wood finds that are traced to the Nordic regions, and a wealth of historical information and archeological artifacts from Africa that portray certain regions people's as seafaring for at least a thousand years - same in Scandinavia. The truth is, the world's people were connected by primarily peaceful, intercontinental trading long long long before the violent colonization of what is now the Americas. The doctrine of capitalism & colonialism has taught us that such global interconnectedness and trade would be impossible without such terrible histories, and that all progress is simply linear, therefore we are smarter and nicer now than we were 500 years ago. ALL anthropological data proves this is a fallacy. Throughout most of our evolution as a species, the last 150,000 years, 98-99% of it experienced relatively peaceful and egalitarian relations between all ethnicities, genders, and sexualities. There are remains of large cities dated between 3 & 4,000 BCE that traveled by water in ships, were egalitarian in social structure with educational and governmental institutions which were collectively governed over, and met the needs of the people without slavery or even wage slavery as it is now. This world as we experience it now is NOT normal. Our ancestors very well may have crossed paths, fell in love, created a child to be raised up by their community and now live still through you a thousand, maybe thousands of years later!

Some of these comments gave me an idea. When the world is normal/functional again, the best thing that i can think of, would be an international "Warriors Convention": be it your ancestors, anothers, a lost or still existing society/nation, it would be a place to explore, learn, share and trade the amazing things about each other's histories and remember/pass on amazing things to one another that would also build a sense of respect and pride for everyone. Imagine talking and drinking with Mayans, Hussars, Berserkers, Samurai's, Spartans, Sioux, Apache, Celts, Berbers, Huns etc.

@@TheNordicKnight Runes have hidden knowledge. They are symbols and each runes means something. In witchcraft you use runes as visual props whenever you need to maintain a certain mental state for the successful accomplishment of a task. That is very very basic example of witchcraft. You know the rune, and what it means and you draw it somewhere, like a graffiti artist writes down his tag in the city and later sees it and feels pride or whatever, the runes work in the same way. But this is very basic. Runes have much much more. If you want to learn more ask. I like sharing this knowledge but only to those who really want to learn more. And ignore the other comments saying this is bullshit. Symbols are used everywhere in present life. For example seeing a McDonalds logo will make you want to either buy one, or think to yourself how much you dislike fast food. Runes work the same way, but instead of making you a slave, they liberate your soul because they give you an un-distorted view of reality. You decide what runes to work with, and what rune to use during what day of the week or for what task. . If you practice runes, meditation, divination, tarot reading, even astrology, you will learn to read people like an open book. You will have piercing eyes that look deep inside the other persons soul instead of falling for their fake personalities/facade/lies. You will know with 100% certainty when somebody lies to you..... Damn... there is a lot lot more to runes, its not enough for 1 comment section. . Runes can also be vibrated (i'm definitely not going to get into this topic now) Runes also have hidden knowledge and provide guidance on... for example how to climb hierarchies of power, be more grounded with reality, help break mental barriers, how to accumulate wealth. There is a rune for every task. Nazi Germany used a lot of runes. People who think this is bullshit simply make ma laugh :)))))) Their brain works in a programed way and that makes them easy to manipulate. Their brain works in a very simple code: If (hear something about magick) then (ridicule), else (laugh) else (insecure denial), else (scepticism). Do you see a thought pattern?!? ))))))) Funny isn't it? . Runes tell you how to navigate reality using intuition, and instinct as opposed to following predetermined paths set by people on levels of hierarchies above you. That's why this knowledge is kept hidden. . . Don't think witchcraft is dead. Witchcraft has a LOT more influence in this century than in the past ones. Witchcraft gave birth to mathematics, marketing, psychology, arts.... :D cmon.... ....) ...... We see the result of witchcraft everywhere we go, its just that we are in an era where information is power and this information is deliberately being ridiculed and distorted to control the masses, and that's why a lot of people think this is all nonsense. . Think less and observe more. Look how positive the original comment is and how hateful the majority of replies are )). There is no need for words. Why do you think that is the case? These people were manipulated into believing this doesn't exist, but I guarantee you that as kids we all used to believe Magick is real real. So what changed? Did reality change? Or did our perception of reality change? The answer is obvious.

I love the relentless buildup of this piece- at once strong, ponderous, and full of weight. It really makes the climax at 5:30 otherworldly. I like how you expertly conveyed a steady rise of tension and portence and they released all of the builtup energy in a final explosion of wild freedom. I love immersive music, and the entire piece conveyed a sense of relentless stoicism and determination- and I must tell you, I have never been..."taken away" by the music to another headspace and another fantasy headspace as much as the last part of this soundtrack. Also your keen unique visuals, what you chose for the visuals really tells a story all its own and took my mind there. I am fascinated by your talent and your work. I can't wait to see more of your work from the future. Faved, Subbed, and Bell Notified. Cheers!

The ancient city of Uruk in Mesopotamia, where Gilgamesh lived, had lots of cow/bovine motifs associated with royalty. In the Epic of Gilgamesh he is referred to as a raging bull. I wonder if there is any connection, same with city of Ur.

According to the source called Secrets of Amenti the origin of the word "Culture" comes from the ancient CULT of UR, refering to the worship of UR... I would assume it points to the same animal archetype of power merging different ancient cultures. Whereas there is not many or none direct evidences left the lingvistic is often last field which may "point to the direction" at least... Extincted ancestor to the wide range of modern cattle breeds and one of the first species domesticated by mankind (Bos primigenius in latin) contains the word core UR in both german/english names - AUER/AUROCHS, as well as slavic PRATUR/TUR... which is no surprise once we know both germanic & slavic languages are part of Proto-European or Indo-European language group. Aurochs were inhabitants of European primaeval forests. The last surviving wild specimen was shot in Poland in 1627. However, the animal shown on opening picture is Wisent/Bison bonasus (the closest relative to American bison) which was close to extinction in early 20th century with only 56 individuals that survived in captivity. Thanks to systematic conservation efforts worldwide population is estimated around 3200 - 3500 specimens, with many of them protected in forest keeps and few living in East European wilderness.

Viktor Konczi Viktor Konczi Pls read my previous comment once again and note I have not made any connection with the city of Ur but with the animal archetype of power - the bull - specifically Bos Primigenius, the ancient ancestor of all modern cattle breeds which was a wild animal known under the names Auer/Auroch or Pratur/Tur. It was one of the first species domesticated by mankind and obviously the first animal to help the man to cultivate the land... Let´s try to look at the activity of cultivation in broader picture now... The man that plow the land with the help of Auroch/Tur, essential way of cultivation - to plow / “ORať/ORat” in slovak/czech, “dURchrasseln” in german, “when farmer plows he makes deep fURrows”... coincidence ?

Uruz is at the same time name of a warrior from Turkish epic tales of "Dede Korkut". There are really lots of relations and connections with these two peoples, Turkic and Nordic ones. Some say they are coming from the same bond. Music, clothing, alphabet( runes), words and even the word viking means "raider", just like how Turks considered as in those days.

Uruz is unbridled power. You cannot control it! Don't be a fool! You need Ansuz, the god blood, that is order, and stability, to control yourself, and choose the higher path. Odin has all the Uruz one could have! But he is Ansuz, as well, so he is always in control of his choices! Odin chooses good because it is the nature of true strength and control. Any one can be a tyrant, but then what will you have but the hatred of a million hearts and the love of nearly none?

My mother was Korean, my father is german. Funnily enough despite being closer to my mother in terms of appearance I always connected more to my father and his family. Not only their recent history, where many members of his family served in the various wars of the time, like WW2, WW1, the Franco-Prussian war and the napoleonic wars. I also have a lot of admiration and pride for what came long before that. Even as a little girl I collected various books about Germanic legends and folklore. It was and still is very fascinating to me. From the tales of Siegfried, to how Donar (Thor) was fishing just to pull the mighty Jörmungandr out of the ocean. These stories always fascinated me, not only in their epic proportions, but also tales of heroism, sacrifice, tragedy and creative efforts to overcome obstacles. I consider these as very important lessons and fundamental aspect of our history, a history I'm very proud to be a part of. Songs like these are great in a way, that they manage to invoke the emotions I associate with the stories and legends I love so much. Thanks for uploading ^^

Oh, what a beautiful song. It makes me feel like treeking through the snow in a mountain forest, taking from nature only what I need. Or maybe my childhood, where we wound go on Istland horses, off track, sometkmes during thunderstorms. THAT teaches you respect for nature! (and for those horses too, they never trip or get scared!) At the same time, this has such a gentle note, as in 'there is a gentleness in true strength'. The beat sounds a bit like the heart of the world itself, esp in the beginning. Makes you want to start a fire and stomp along. Ah, what a song! Kinda want the rune tatoowed somewhere now too, Like right above the heart. Though it is not near one that would describe me well... It reminds me of Something,,, idk what, though. This is waaaayyyy long, but by the chance anyone reads this, thank you for making this♡ Skål! PS: I Finally know what the burning rune reminds me of!
