4 жыл бұрынThis is certainly a fish-filled episode as Graeme heads goes fishing from Somerset's Watchet marina for a trip aboard the brand new charter boat "Lorna Doone". The wind has been blowing hard but skipper Tommo manages to get to some of his "secret" fishing marks. Graeme shelters out of the way on the side of the boat and by casting uptide he latches into lots of good fish, all of which are returned. Then it's back into the warmth of the World famous Tackle Shack, his man-cave cabin that he built out of old engineering packing crates. It now looks more homely and even features a G-Stove which he can cook on. He gives you a great money saving tip on reversing your fishing line, how to make your Weather vane spin and even a discovery he made on what he calls a "Mass extinction of worms". It’s a great watch so get the popcorn out, pour yourself a drink and let Graeme transport you into his World of fun and discovery.

Graman you done it all lived your life had your dreams s your lucky gezzer as for Mick couldnt of had a better upbringing or dad .You realy took your life and lived the way you wanted with no regrets i supose you would say anyone could do it but you see they dont and then regret it.Loved tonights video and the snaps of you and Mick magic.

When you are re-winding off the spool to your reel try some felt as a washer either side of the bolt and it will add enough brake to keep the line under tension. Maybe even a corn plaster if they are thick enough. Really enjoy your videos and life stories. Thank you.

That golf course is going to have a hellova time getting all that golfable. Flooding is no bueno especially for the worms. Amazing video as always.

Hi Graeme, That is the best Charter Boat i have ever seen. Luxury Fishing there Graeme. All that flooding reminds me of when i had 11 years of issues at home with street drain problems flooding my back garden every time it rained. The Council eventually sorted it out. Turned out builders had shoved tons of Rendering down the drains previously. 5 days work to clear it all. Steve in Fife.

They could have used some sort of pesticide/insecticide on the golf course then the heavy rain leeched it down. Never seen that before. Ps if you fix u reel to bottom section of rod helps with re-spooling, thanks for video!

Looks like the water table has reached it's limit hence the drowned worms on top, no where to go for them instead upwards. Was very fertile ground with that amount of worms.

Great video, still have all your books on the shelf in my den (which I do still look through) was chatting to Dave at Bury Hills the other week and your name came up about perhaps doing some lake winter fishing down there to pass on some tips and tricks. Bonds was fishing quite well.

My little tip for big fixed spools is just fill the bottom of the spool with some backing to bring the spools down from like 400yards to about 275 or so which is more than enough. Hope I'm like him when I'm older, I dont even have that much energy now and I'm only 34.

Heavy rains or in the case of the golf course sprinklers flooded out their habitat...they should still be good for bait.

The worms are drown I think. If the ground water is that high they couldn’t get out of it and drown.

Hi Graeme. Great video as always. I do believe groundsmen put down chemicals to kill off worms if they are producing too many worm casts, which spoil sports pitches.

When the lawn became so wet it saturated all the air space between the soil particles the worms drowned as unlike lug worm earthworms can't breath under water

Strong double sided sticky tape, get industrial tape, works great on concrete g, you got bigger balls than me going up on the roof mate, I had to shut my eyes lol.

hi lads love the videos learnt so much,,i only took up fishing 6 months ago and to be honest ive learnt everything from you r shows love the tips and relaxing nature and the cheeky jokes just brilliant videos just 1 quick question i only seem to catch dogfish and loads of them whatever time of year it is i use beach casters with pulley rig mackerel and squid bait on the beach pier and rocks always dogfish on the antrim coast of n.ireland is it just luck or could i change something to catch other fish im not complaining fish is fish but any tips for different specie would help thanks and keep up the good work graeme good to see new video

Move venues/areas you are fishing,maybe try a surf beach and worms or sandeel for bait. You should have a chance of Flounder or Bass.

yes I reverse my line I start with my big pits then on to my 6000 bait runners then down on to the 4000 baby bait runners I save a small fortune.
