One of the best interviews in 2021. Just listen to how this man has grown. Very smart and a lot can be learned from his wisdom and lessons learned.
@motorsporttires8082 жыл бұрын
Lee gives an excellent outlook on lifelong childhood friends who grow apart. I like how he says that people blow up a situation that really is minimal. I lived in Woodson Terrace when these guys were blowing up. Heard them back in 1999 and I knew they were special. This man is speaking about the recording industry, but his words apply to most work in life. I bet if all the St Lunatics sat down one Friday night with no press and no onlookers, this shit would be squashed over a few drinks and some storytelling and maybe a little bit of crying and apologizing. I hope that Lee has the ability to find some peace with the loss of his boys. We have that in common. I lost my firstborn as well. It changes you forever.

Hip hop is hip hop … if you’re talented & have stayed connected with your fans it doesn’t matter what “category” the music is in, for example … nas , jayz , kanye … all older than murph but their fanbases are huge so if they drop their fans are going to check it , no one is going to say “I’m too old to listen to this nas” ….. they just either like it or they don’t
