This video aims creating a mechanism that can be used for murukku making machine:

Thanks to double parallelogram mechanism of green bars the table translates along an Archimedean spiral of several turns.

Hello sir i would want to know why there two gears engaged is there any purpose or can we have only one gear with shaft and motor attached to it and drive the profile above..? Please suggest a similar mechanism as i would a want a mechanism which drives archimedean spiral..

Please see also: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/m9umqdic2uCVhIU.html System of four spur gears ensures that the cam and the runway rotate in the same direction and the cam rotate slower than the runway. The less velocity difference is, the more turn number of Archimedean spiral is. Here tooth numbers: 20 for yellow and violet gears, 16 for orange gear, 24 for blue gear. Adjust the green point position on the pink slider to get the drawn spiral bigger or smaller. If the desired Archimedean spiral is of only one turn, the gears are not necessary.

No. Double parallelogram mechanism is needed because the table must have two degrees of freedom. Instead of double parallelogram mechanism, two runway mechanism can be used: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/nK1ka65llbW7emw.html

Is there any possibility in adding motor to runway mechanism... If yes.. how...?

It is possible. The second motor is fixed to the violet runway and is connected to the pink slider via a nut-screw drive. The blue cam is not needed. i think the machine from the reference video rather uses two separate driven linear bearings. would be much more flexible and it has a computer control unit like cad machines. nevertheless this is a nice solution, too
