Hey musclecar fans. Check out 8:00 of this video! Sir, you actually had the good sense to understand and briefly cover the famous 1970 GS Stage1 vs. 1970 GTX Hemi Round 1 "shootout" that took place in Dec. 1984 and was was featured in the March 1985 issue of (Muscle)Car Review. That shootout became *legend* when the Hemi owner wrote a letter to the magazine stating that "the Buick GS's ran like they were tied to a tree". So the editor of MCR (Don Farr) put this race together in less than 10 days ... and the GS blew doors. Wow ... What a furor arose from it all and put the GS on the map as a legitimate first tier musclecar. There so many of us now-old guys who followed all of the letters that poured into MCR, Car Craft and even Hot Rod magazine about that little-guy race. When they were once available on eBay, that particular March 1985 issue of MCR was selling for over $100 (!!) a copy while all the other MCR issues were selling from 5 to 7 bucks each! That says a LOT about this race that us average "little guy" enthusiasts of the day could relate to. The display sign says it all.

Great video but I question your taste in cars. The uglier the car, the less options, and the uglier the color, the more you like it. I bet your dream car is beige 62 impala with a 409, beige interior, beige steelies, bench seats and no radio. You have the exact same taste as my grandmother:)
