We went to the local car show Muscle Car Madness to check out the awesome collection of vehicles on display. This show gets very busy on Saturday and Sunday afternoon so we cruised through on Sunday morning to beat the crowds and heat, makes it easy to film the cars.

Wow! That was an awesome show. So much variety that I'm sure there was at least one of everything. It's -20 here with a few feet of snow on the ground so this really lifts the spirits. Thanks brother!

Thank you mate. -20 eh? we hade 36C a few days here last week, was a bit much. I really enjoyed the variety at the show, every where you looked there was something else groovy to check out.

@@OldIronRC yeah we have been in a cold snap for about a week. It's going to be a long cold winter but we'll be complaining about the heat soon enough 😂😂

That Desoto wagon with the blower on it, I've never seen one before, the Hillman with the twin cam in it and the F100 van with the orange paint. 🧡👍

I know, I was really digging that station wagon too, I am a bit of a station wagon fan boy though, I could be biased.

What a wide selection of mouth-watering vehicles! From a cheeky Mini to a huge Yank semi-truck, there was something for everyone here. As an English bloke I have to admit that I loved seeing the two Capris, the Jag and what I think might have been a Mk. IV Cortina, but there was enough muscle there to put Mr. Universe to shame and I enjoy seeing that, too. You are adept, Mark, at getting footage of acres and acres of glossy car-flanks without recording the reflection of your own camera - great job!

Thanks Del. As I walked the rows of cars I was thinking how you'd like the mix of British cars in there. We got a good mix of local Holdens and Fords too. The camera work is 90% luck and 10% experience, it's pretty much impossible to see anything in the viewfinder screen due to the reflecting sun.

@@OldIronRC There was a really good bit which showed the reflection of some showgoers in the inch-deep gloss of someone´s lovely paintwork; I remember thinking how clever that had been of you...

@@Del350K4 I did get some good footage of the purple caddy next to the purple Impala, It was showing a car in reflection of the car, and they both looked bloody nice.

My friend, I viewed this on Saturday morning and it was awsome. Those are some of the most beautiful rides I've ever seen. Looks like the old Chrystlers and Desotos have faired better there. We hardly see one at a show or anywhere else for that matter. Really great video and good to hear from you.

Thanks Ray! I do enjoy the variety we get at the car shows here. Some very very nice cars. I admit I have an iron oxide fettish, but I still love the shiny show cars too as long as they are older cars, modern don't float my boat at all.

@@OldIronRC I like older stuff. I, just like you have a soft spot for that rusted over look. I drive an '80 f100 Ford with a small flatbed on it. It gets me where I need to go. Have a good week. Later

Hey mate great footage thanks. I haven't been to that show in years so hopefully I'll make it next year! Hey are you a organizer for the Dave Carr Memorial run? Im wanting to bring my old Canadian built western star down for a cruise to the 2021 run. Do you know when it's likely to be on this year and how you enter? Im up in Motueka area... Thanks Tim! We had skipped a year at this show and went down to the truck racing at levels Raceway last year, so it was good to do the rounds at the hot rod show again. Go on Facebook page for the Dave Carr Truck Photo Collection. I am sure they'd love to have you on a run. Cam & Stu are the guys you want to talk to for the truck rally.

@@OldIronRC You can't beat the truck racing at levels alright it's always entertaining, I've been a few times over the years too. Good stuff thanks very much I'll look into that on Facebook. You make great videos, really appreciate your work, really enjoy the car and truck show videos you do, keep up the great work and have a good year👍
