I'm trying to do a simple semi truck sound setup. I got the engine sounds working all right, but the airbrakes and reverse beeper got me stumped?! I'd like the air brake sound play whenever I let off the throttle, and the reverse beeper to play when on reverse obviously. I can't seem to figure out how the hell that can be achieved?!

Hi There Phil, thanks for taking time to edit and put up this video on-line. Having returned to CHC after 20 years away it was great to catch up with so many folk and more so to see the smiles on grown up and kids alike much of which many commented on was just pure relief at some level of normality. The 9mm layout came with me so it's the first time it's been publicly shown here for maybe 20+ years. While it's a never ending work in progress, your camera work has managed to capture a number of the little cameo scenes I've worked on perfectly. Not so perfect is some of the scenery and detail but your clip has shown me where I need to undertake further work to sharpen these up. The other layouts on display were wonderful, it was a great weekend and it's great to be back in Canterbury again. Thanks for sharing.

Some shots without the camera flying around would have been nice. Didn’t really get to see much with so many close ups and the camera moving fast. It does not hurt to hold the camera still on one scene without panning or zooming. Nice slow pans and sometimes zooms are always appreciated by the viewer. Cheers

Phil! Hello, mate! How great to see you post a KZfaq video. I've been wondering how you are. I thought I might hear from you when I posted a video on building a forward-control/cabover lorry, and was a little concerned by your silence, so I'm glad to see you back on YT. What a cracking video! I enjoyed seeing the Hillman Minx and that lovely grey lorry @ 6:15, & my wife was delighted to be unexpectedly reunited with Thomas the Tank Engine. It looks as though this event had enough going on to keep a man interested all day. I liked that big Southern Pacific diesel we saw just after the scene with the blue police car and the 2 guys loading a patient into an ambulance. And I was surprised and chuffed to see cars moving around on the roads! Have a good day.

Hi Del, I haven't been hitting KZfaq so much lately and have fallen behind keeping up with my channel subscriptions. It was a great train show, I haven't been for a few years (pre covid) so was good to attend again. I almost didn't take the camera so I could just enjoy the outing, but I couldn't resist. Being part of the commonwealth it is not surprising to see the English vehicles mixed with Aussie & American ones. The way they make them move is a magnet moving under the scene, although they do have 1/87 micro RC's now I believe. I'm pretty keen to get into making another HO layout myself, it's been awhile.

@@OldIronRC Well, I was delighted to see your channel name crop up. I suspect that the magnets were a much better way than micro-RC to achieve the smooth flow of traffic the organisers were looking for. It might be fun to have one rogue RC car scything through the orderly ranks of vehicles, though, veeri g all over the road and occasionally crashing. Did you see my little video on trying to learn to reverse an RC articulated lorry? I need to make time to practise a lot more. I still hope that one day you will give us a running video of the current "Duel" incarnation of FatBetty.
