Choreography by Fathurrahman Said & Nur Fadilah Saiful Bahri
Inspired by the piece "Cry Jailolo" from renowned Indonesian choreographer - Eko Supriyanto, the group aims to contemporize "Joget" - a Traditional Malay Dance genre accentuating leg movements, the essence of transition and synchronization in Malay Dance. Acting as a vacuum, "Apong" (floating) describes the movement of the legs through "mengambang" (balance).
