To me Mushoku Tensei is a 10/10 story, but that's after having read it all. I find it hard to judge the anime as a stand-alone product, but I couldn't give it less than a 9. I watched it weekly and each episode ended before I knew it.

Rudeus is my favourite character. In season 2 and 3 he will be more people's favourite I think.

You right mushoku tensei lack of direction. Every changes and plots for story come from “turning point” chapter. This is good and bad at the same time cause The story has no specific direction i will say. But it good cause the way the story is built in such a turning point is exciting for the reader. As a web novel reader i can say that turning point 3 and 4 are peak of this novel, after that i felt the story gradually lose its direction. it's very well written until the very last chapter so you don't have to worry about it getting boring, it's just that the story lacks specific direction towards the end. Mushoku tensei is good and it is one of the first novel i ever read so i can say to you it's worth your time :v
