Would recommend going over the materials more like what weight is the yarn and size hooks used. It’s hard to tell just by looking at it

This is such a cute pattern!💕 I adapted it to make it into a bookmark instead. I just made one of the ends flat and the other I kept the little mushroom as a tassel to hang out the book 🍄

This is a great tutorial!! I had a blast crocheting this. My one concern is how far away the work is from the camera, I had to zoom in a lot to see what was happening! I am also legally blind so that is half my own issue but perhaps closer shots might be beneficial for your beautiful work!

I just finished thiss, it's really cute I used a 3mm and 2.5mm hook tho I painted the white dots rather than using the white yarn, thank you so much for the pattern💞💞💞

I used the white yarn and embroidered french knots for the dots on the mushrooms. I found it quicker to make and added a smoother flow to the project.

I love this!! I really appreciate how you don’t take a whole chunk of time talking about your materials at first and make us skip/pick through the video to get to the actual tutorial. For me, it was easy to see what you used, and seeing the balls of yarn with the color pallet as apposed to telling us we have to have a specific kind is so nice, and is much more realistic to what we all have around the house. Everything just made it so much easier to watch and so straight forward🍄 you could even just put the weight/description of your materials in the description if people need it, and it would be great!! Amazing work girl ❤️❤️❤️

How did you get rid of the mushroom spot ends so they don’t show >

Once I attached the spots, I tied them with a square knot on the wrong side and snipped them close with scissors.

I love this tutorial! The only thing I'm having problems with is the stem of the mushrooms that are at the ends. I'm not sure how to crochet the tear drop shape 😬

Try to chain 3, slip stitch into the first chain and then a single crochet in every chain, for the next round make a decrease and then for the last round make another decrease so your left with 1 single crochet. This part was the most confusing and I didn’t really know how to explain it, but I hope this makes more sense.

Do you mean to single crochet down the triangle and across to the other side to complete the other chain and mushroom or single crochet down the triangle and tie off and then do the other side?

@@MyCrochetShack I did single crochets on the sides of the triangles, when I got to the headband part I switched to slip slipstitch and then back to single crochet once you reach the other triangle.

Also I didn’t cut the yarn after the triangle. I kept going following the same steps on both sides.

I agree - asking for the yarn thickness (assuming it's worsted weight? 4?) what size hook did you use? 4mm? and I do not use yarn weight - as that is useless between different brands of yarn (they weigh differently), so roughly how many meters or yards... but with such a small project, it won't be much... larger projects, this will matter more. Thank you for sharing this! It's really cute!

I may have missed it, but you should clarify that you started with the brown or black for the first two rows. I thought it was the green to start... probably my old eyes! I continued on and just used the brown for the "dirt"!

Hey!!! This is a lovely pattern, I tried using my normal size yarn with a 4mm hook and it came out super huge, I'm normally a very tight crocheter too so I was wondering if you had any tips other than sizing down? What size yarn do you use? Thank you!!!

Thank you!! I used a 3.75mm and 2mm hooks for this and the yarn is 1/4 of a cm. If it’s still turning out too big maybe you could do 1/2 dc for the stitches that are dc. I hope this helps 😭🩶

Yes the headband is 38cm and the straps are 27cm each, I also made one where the straps are 40cm each
