Thanks for the pattern! It turned out really cute :) I couldn't get the mini mushroom stems to look neat, so here's what I did, in case anyone else was looking for an alternative: Row 1: Chain 8 Row 2: TC in 4th stitch from the hook, DC in the next, HDC in the next, SC in the next, Sl st in the next and finish off and leave a longer end for sewing. You should have a trapezoid flat shape. I sewed the sides together with the long end and threaded the end through the stem.

This would look amazing for the back of a vest! I’ve tried but un did all my work it didn’t fit right, does anyone have any tips for how I can do it? Would be great if there was a tutorial for a vest :)
@laymuuna88212 күн бұрын
Beginning with this round mandala I would turn it into a granny square (look for a tutorial on yt). Then you may be able to work it into a vest. Good luck! 🧶👌🏻

Just finished this project. Took me 2 days. I would recommend to leave a longer tail before ch3 in mini mushroom's stem, I personally couldn't secure it good enough without weaving the bottom end in through the center and knotting both ends to a loop from the strap. Also it's better to make the starting chain for the main body a little loose or use a bigger hook so the headband is straight. The only thing I changed in this pattern was making straps with scs instead of sls to keep mini cap on its place. I almost cried during making little mushrooms and knotting every single spot for every mushroom on the main body😭 Anyway the design is cute and unique Yarns: Jeans by YarnArt (50g/160m) and Amigurumi by Kartopu (50g/130m), Hooks 3.5 mm + 2 mm. Headband size: 41x5cm

Now if i may. For safety reasons I'd rather see you guys attach the leaf chains to the choker with a small metal jump ring through the stitches instead of tying them on. In case this snags somewhere or god forbid someone yanks on it, a standard jewellery jump ring will unbend or snap a lot easier than some good quality yarn, esp. lace crochet yarn. Stay safe you little fairies ❤ (And I'll try to make a darker version of this 😏)

Do you know what the fiber of your yarn is? It looks maybe dk weight to me, and I’m guessing it’s cotton because it doesn’t seem to have shine or stretch like acrylic.
@moodyjuicecrochet23 күн бұрын
Yes it is cotton 🥰

Do you remember the brand of your yarn? And if not; the measurement you showed for the thickness of the strands at the beginning, is that in centimeters or inches? (Just wanna follow the directions step by step so I want to get the scale right)
@moodyjuicecrochet23 күн бұрын
I got my yarn in Buenos Aires from a shop called Nube and they don’t label the weight😭the top of the measuring tape is inches and the bottom is cm it’s 1/8 inches or 3/10 of a cm. Also you can use any scrap yarn and hook. I always use hooks that are smaller than what’s recommended for the yarn
