They are both GODS!!! The music, masks, paint schemes. It's all art, Slipknot and Mushroomhead designs and music are all that matters to me. Love both. Why settle with just one?

I personally am a fan of both, however, the reasons being: - Both bands came out around the same time - Both have nine members - Both wear masks - The Slipknot fans would go in Mushroomhead mosh-pits and fuck people up, saying that Slipknot could rock harder than Mushroomhead. And vice versa. So both bands ended up becoming rivals due to the fans.

I literally have zero idea why Slipknot are mentioned in the comments of every single Mushroomhead song. They sound nothing alike at all. I love both of them. They are both modern metal acts, they both have masks, but thats it. They dont sound a like at all. They both have their own unique sounds.

I don't get why a lot of people are fighting between Mushroomhead and Slipknot, they are both my most favorite bands. And sure, both bands wear masks, but that doesn't mean they copied each other in that kind of way.

Because many songs of moshroomhead sound like bullshit! SlipKnoT sounds a million times better them moshroomhead! I think they take the mask of SlipKnoT and change them a bit. Like the mask, which wear by the bassist thar looks like pauls first mask.
