Honestly, if you were the kind of react channel where you just played the song all the way through while saying a couple words throughout without pausing, I think I'd get bored pretty easily. But the fact that you take the time to pause and analyze and explain what makes a song work makes the channel so worth it. I can tell you're genuinely trying to appreciate and explain music in a way that makes sense.

FMA:B is one of those shows that got so many things right that it makes it hard to watch a lot of other shows. Like just with the openings and endings, they do a lot of things really well that other shows have copied without really understanding why it worked for Fullmetal. Once you see it, you can't unsee it in other shows.

@@jcamvs2537 I thought OP was strictly speaking openings, endings, OSTs. In that regard my opinion holds, I like pretty much all of them, maybe OSTs even a bit more than openings and endings, but even if we talk about the anime as a whole I still think they got pretty much everything right except for the slow pace start (I disregard filler arcs though).

Honestly, i got into a phase, for a short while, watching as many people as i could find reacting to different music. Drumrolltony is the only one I've really stuck with, and everytime he uploads, i get excited! He really should be getting more attention

It’s always a good day when it’s an FMA reaction / analysis!! Yui’s singing is wonderful & unique, and I think the way the instruments support it is really effective. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that FMAB is bad, but to be fair there is something like a secret ... brotherhood ... within MAL that has manipulated this anime to be place one for a VERY LONG time. Those guys are zealots.

I, a resident of Ohio, was walking through a supermarket and heard Again playing on the music system. I was so taken aback. Like omg one of these kids working the registers is a weeb! I couldn't have been more pleased. I stopped dead in my tracks. "AH, the song of my people..." I couldn't help singing along and making a fool of myself in the frozen food aisle. Lol

I love your channel because I feel like I learn something new about the songs I've been loving for several years. I have NEVER heard the long base line drops at around 50 seconds in (the OP vid) and I've probably listened to this song hundreds of times. Glad that you reacted to FMAB, honestly it has peak openings and beautiful endings from 1-5. I would really recommend listening to Op 5 Rain by Sid and Ending 2 Let it Out by Miho Fukuhara. Love the videos btw!

FMAB openings and endings are great, but also FMA 2003 openings are quite good, and the two shows' soundtracks in general are. I also like the Conqueror of Shamballa movie opening (the visuals are a bit spoilery for FMA2003 as they include some scenes from the series it concludes).

Your pauses and willingness to re-listen to sections of songs (sometimes as many as 3 or 4 times) is why I always come back to this channel. You have such an active engagement with all parts of the song that it's really rewarding to us viewers who have probably listened to this 1000x - but here you come in and mention that base draw(?) in the middle of the song that I never heard before because I was so focused on those percussion hits.
