Greetings, TGBoleyn! Sorry for the error, I was using a calendar that my friend's two-year-old created with a crayon; he truly believes that February has 30 days, and he managed to persuade me of the same; I'm having a hard time returning to reality since he last spoke to me. @@metalheadblues to be honest there is no right way to record your own music, it is self expression. but if you are going for a particular sound like TOP 40 for instance then you have certain rules so that your song does not sound so far left field that it distracts the listener who is accustomed to a certain sound from other bands that play similar music. Generally you don't need to double track lead guitar, because most of the time lead guitar is at the centre of your mix
