The musical arranger is Bobby Velasco - the same guy who did the musical arrangement for Daryl's cover of SWV's *'WEAK'* . Of course, a dope musical arrangement deserves a dope vocal arrangement - which Daryl always does brilliantly. Also check out his cover of John Legend's *'ORDINARY PEOPLE'* . What he did with this cover is simply amazing. On Daryl Ong Official. Speaking of falsetto, Daryl doesn't use his falsetto often. And Brian McKnight was impressed enough by this cover to tweet that Daryl is 'one of those truly truly talented people in the world'.

Yesss!!! I knew you were gonna say something like that about Brian McKnight. He did twit about this cover of Daryl Ong. I love hearing your insights on music every time you do a reaction video. Daryl showed a lot of goodies in this rendition, which gave me a lot of goosebumps. LOL.. His cover of ED SHEERAN'S DIVE is also one to check out. Ahh.. finally who appreciates this work like I did when I first heard this. The starting accompaniment blew my mind. I couldn't make up my mind if it was jazzing up the blues or blue-sing the jazz. The bass passing combos were crazy.

Brian McKnight is apparently his biggest influence in music ^.^ To be honest, though, I still prefer Brian's band over this arrangement. In terms of vocals, I'm a huuuuuge BMK fan, but Daryl has the potential to carry on his legacy! And yup, Brian shared this on his Twitter page~

Dude, what I loved hearing from you is you have no BS at all. Check. Your analyses either bring out the mediocrity or excellence of an artist. No poser, especially those Hollywood-laden singers we are so tired of listening to. Most Filipino singers are born with innate talents in terms of their musicality and craftsmanship. But the universal music, instead of leveling up would gear toward autotunes and novelty crap or trashy things. There are so very few who are musically gifted. And 80% of those top 20% are from Ph. I still believed though, the UK and other parts of Europe produced among the best in terms of great music throughout history. IMO.
