Jin was not added to BTS because of his voice, he was scouted getting off a bus for his looks. When the scouts got him to come audition he thought he would be joining the agency as an actor, he was studying acting in university at the time. He had zero background in singing or dancing. When they asked him to join BTS he thought it was a hip hop group so said ok because he grew up listening to his older brother's hip hop music so he thought he'd be able to learn. He's definitely the most technically trained, he dug deep for singing lessons and would often rehearse the dancing well into the morning hours to catch up to the others who came with some dancing background. I think he's absolutely incredible as a singer and as a human frankly. I'd recommend reading up on the song before the reaction or even during the reaction. Epiphany is part of the BU. Pretty amazing message 💜

I first became an army when I accidentally saw a snippet of this song along with its subtitle. yes!! now i'm army and i like all of them, 7 members. But my bias is still Jin even though sometimes I fall asleep with other BTS members😆. He helped me come back to my senses and made me appreciate myself more with his songs.💜💜💜

Jin has super powers in this song (and few other's, but we are not talking all of that, because it is actually a very sad story). It is called a stage mix and it means doing a stage compilation all of what the video tells in it's name. I've also subscribed to your channel because you've noticed & praised Jin from the first, which is not difficult at all as he's the Best Vocalist in the group, in my opinion! Why? Because, although he's been the fewest lines to sing in the past 9 yrs, every time he opens his mouth, people sit up & take notice! He's that good! Don't ask why he's sung the least so far, except in Fake Love-Butter-Permission to Dance. He was trained as an Actor in Uni, so all his songs are sung as if he's telling stories, fully felt & conveyed successfully to the audience. He'd never been professionally trained as a singer-dancer before joining then Big Hit in 2011, so he's had to train himself extra-hard to catch up with the others, relying heavily on the techniques, not just "gimmicks". James Osorio, a musical director from Chicago, praised his technique-driven vocals & story-telling singing abilities a lot. He said Jin would be great in Musicals, or as you said also, Operas! I agree. It would be the perfect vehicle to showcase all his singing/dancing/acting excellence! You should also react to his other solos: Awake, Moon, Tonight, Abyss & Yours. The latter is the first solo OST, the Main Theme from the K-drama Jirisan. You'll hear how successfully he's combined his singing & acting talents there! Last but not least, his personality is also surprisingly so fun & entertaining, given the fact that he's a quiet introvert at heart. So he also shines the most in their variety shows, Run BTS! and others. That was why last year, on Dec. 4 2021, his birthday, he gifted us with a surprising 1-min song, Super Tuna! About his favorite hobby, fishing! He sang it in Trot, a Korean music genre used to be popular with the older generation but is now making a comeback among the youth. Unexpectedly, he sings it with EDM/anime-sounded music. So totally contradictory to his humble expectation, with its fun little dance, it became a viral hit & created dance challenges enjoyed by young & old alike, as well as most popular children cartoon characters & even the S. Korean govt institutions. Super Tuna is the opposite of Abyss, his Bday song of 2020, which speaks abt his suffering of depression due to the impostor-syndrome he was feeling after the success of Dynamite, where he sang the least! So you see, he's truly such a gifted, versatile vocalist! We can't wait for his solo album AND concert to materialize soon!
