His dad was in prison, and his mom just took off, leaving him alone on the Phillipine streets at the age of 7. He started singing and entering contests thinking he could find his family. I followed him on AGT and couldn't get enough! To say he's phenomenal is an understatement!

Guys, others may have told you below, but I needed to tell you a couple of things. He has albums in which he does double overlay recordings of famous duets, harmonizing both parts. They are mind-blowing. Also, that thing he does with his mouth after the song is because the sound engineers were teasing him about his "female" voice so he was "removing" it. Hilarious. Great reaction. Many of us have followed Marcelito for years - he is such great person, so humble. By the way, we have an unwritten code that after you hear this performance, you NEVER warn anyone when you suggest they hear it. It has been kept for a long time. Cheers.
