Nice project man. With two more strips (red and green), two more mosfets an a few more parts (capacitors) you can make a 3-channel lamp, one colour per frecuency: high, mid and bass.

looking to do similar with RGB strip, but I want it to cycle colors sort of randomly, not timed to music. ****************** 12V RGB strip (common ground) Vary the voltage to each line, but at different rates. Such as: Red cycles over 4 sec, Blue cycles over 5 sec and Green cycles over 6 sec. (from 0 to 12V to 0)

Try using a variable resistor to change the input amount so you can use at all volumes

There is a miss. LED strip negative on Source pin of MOSFET must change to LED strip negative on Drain pin of MOSFET. The video is correct but subtitle has miss typing ( 1:26)

заебок. разберу старую колонку, вытащу мосфет похожий, резистор только хз где взять, а микрофон из наушников, вместо ленты у меня есть 5 вольтовая гирлянда, запитаю от обычного адаптера телефона и готово)

Thanks for making this cool project. I just finished making this. The issue I'm facing is; it does not react to the music played through my phone; even at max volume. And I figured that when I blow air to the mic, the strip lights up. So I placed the mic on my sub woofer's air outlet and its working fine with the bass. I'd like to know if there is any way to improve the mic sensitivity so that the circuit will react to sounds coming from a distance? Thanks in advance and all the best.

Greetings and good video, I am using a translator and I hope I can understand what I want to ask ... It is possible that once a microphone is attached to the connection, it is possible to place a 3.5 female jack so that the audio enters from a speaker, through a male cable extension at each end. If this was the case, it is possible that it recognizes the highs and lows of volume or frequency, so that different colors of LEDs light up, or it would be a different connection for highs and lows ... Someone Help me i did the same thing with IRF740a of dame 30v VGSth but when I check it with multimeter (Still didnt connect Light wires) it shows 12v Everywhere even when nothing playing on microphone . Btw you say led -ve pin to Source and connect it to drain (Any difference?) Please HElp Thanks Edit:I connected the light wires and tested it lights up faintly thats it id dosent even change a little bit depending on the music Please help is mu mosfet Broken i have another one
