Great comments! Black Dimash: classical quasi-opera, White Dimash: theater voice (Phantom of the Opera), Red Dimash (high register). Real Dimash: homage to Michael Jackson (right down to the "whoos" and the black shoes and white socks. I saw a comment from someone who was at this concert and she said there were three screens that were each 16 storeys high. Incredible.

All we really know is that the Spanish speaking Dears have been asking him for a song in Spanish for some time. In a livestream between his concerts last year he finally agreed to do it. He wrote the music and flew to the largest recording studio in Russia to oversee the orchestra recording it, then it was sent to the Kazakhstan embassy in Mexico and two Mexican women wrote the lyrics. He kept sending us little peeks throughout the process via Instagram, of him watching the orchestra, recording the holograms etc but when this was revealed at his concert it was a huge shock. It did however give him a small break to recover from performing The Story of One Sky which being 9 minutes long and Dimash's magnum opus was probably much needed.

The planet where Dimash comes from have seen how well he has been received here on earth, so have temporarily allowed us to have three more. Lol.

He was recently featured in a German tv special as one of 5 young adults from around the world who are literally reshaping their industries. His segment opens with "Dimash Qudaibergen at 28, is changing the face of the world's music. Widely considered a music and business genius..." His production company, DIMASHALI, of which he is sole head, is renowned industrywide for it's state of the art corporate campus with studios, large stage facility, independent buildings for administration and legal, a Creative Center, warehouses for shipping and receiving, lighting and design, costuming, and set design, movies and videos, advertising and PR and Executive offices and meeting rooms, he literally produces his entire career in house, down to merchandise and ticket sales. A first in the Industry.

At 5, the youngest student in its history accepted into the most distinguished music academy in his country. Now 28, and writing his Doctoral thesis for a PhD in Musicology in Composition. Until fairly recently, he was a full-time student while simultaneously maintaining a successful performing career. All of his performances and projects were carefully scheduled around his studies. Saying years ago he needed the weight of education to compose seriously ( he composed this piece) and teach on the university level later in life, two of his many life goals. Dimash is only fluent in Kazakh and Russian. He is getting better and better in his English. The other languages his works really hard on. Wherever he gives a concert he tries to sing at least one song in the language of that country. Sometimes it’s been a little difficult but he hives it his best. I gather this is the first song that Dimash has sung / he composed in the Spanish language. No - not (Aeroking?) These are not individual characters, but representations of the inner struggle of the each human spirit, between Darkness and Light, with Love (the Red) centering and shining though and soaring high above. As for playing creatively across multiple genres - that has very much been Dimash's signature, beyond the more obvious enormous range. I think he would appreciate your comments about the complexity and layering of his composition here. Whilst Dimash has studied Composition at an advanced level, he was always a 'creator', writing songs even in his teens.( or perhaps even earlier - given that he won his first Piano competition aged 8! ) He has a perfect ear and a solid background in Italian / Latin Operatic productions, and so Spanish would much easier for him to learn phonetically, than, say; Mandarin! Also, his own Kazakh language has 'rolled R's The majority of the songs he sings in multiple (14+? ) languages have been learnt 'by ear', and practice Practice PRACTICE! What everyone agrees about is Dimash's love for, and this acknowledgement of, his massive Spanish-speaking fan base, many of whom have flown to his home city of Almaty, in Kazakhstan just for this Concert. Obviously a lot of planning and effort has gone into this spectacular production. 😄🤩

Dimash has had a lot of exposure to Italian (being classically trained in Bel Canto). Italian is somewhat adjacent to Spanish in pronunciation. However, I've watched some Spanish-speaking reactors who say his Spanish needs a lot of work. Which is fine, he'll get there.

This was such a smart move on Dimash's part. He premiered this song directly after singing the Story of One Sky at his Almaty concert. The Story of One Sky is a 10 minute song (also composed by Dimash) with vocals that are unbelievable and sung with more passion than you've ever seen. This song with the 3 prerecorded Dimashs doing the heavy lifting and gave him time to recover before continuing with the rest of the concert. (I don't know if you've seen the Story of One Sky from Almaty or not but there's an excellent fancam from the Vietnam Fan Club out there that I would highly recommend if you haven't). Dimash is simply the BEST! He is so innovative... coming up with new ways to present his music!! Haven't heard of the inspiration behind the presentation but Dimash wrote this song after the Spanish Dears kept screaming for him to sing in their language. One of the authors of the lyrics is the president of the Mexico fan club. He is so good to his Dears! ❤

I love to hear your comments on the music and composition. That is one thing I don't think reactors focus on enough. The music in his songs is always top-notch. It's especially great that you praised this one because Dimash composed the music himself! However, even when he is not the composer, you can tell he doesn't believe the song is "all about him". He truly loves music and, based on what he has produced, considers the accompaniment as important as his vocals.

So glad you found him. On this list, in my humble opinion, are some of his absolute best performances. From what I understand his Spanish diction is not as good it could be, but it is a new language for him. Like with his English songs, sometimes the English is good and sometimes not so good. Fortunately, Dimash is good at getting the emotion across which helps make up for where the language leaves off.

I think I know what song youre talking about, I think in English the song called elfking? I dont quite remember but I do know the singer was singing 4 different characters: the narrator, the son, father, and elfking. I think the singer was a tenor but change his timbre deeper or lighter to play different characters. Dimash' however singing as whole different vocal type, which are baritone, tenor, and soprano + pop style BTW if you want to hear him singing as bass try listening him singing "Thousands of miles" where he duet with Zhang Yingxi. he singing with deep bass or low baritone timbre pretty much the whole song except on final aria
