Everyone remembers the All That opening, but the opening of the Nickelodeon show ROUNDHOUSE intro was also filmed in the same area of New York and utilized the same spaces the All That intro did. Wild.

Always Salute Your Shorts! I was a huge fan of SeaQuest and they used the Amity area in some episodes when they relocated to USF for season 2. They also used one of the soundstages for it and used to have a plaque outside the door commemorating the show. I loved seeing it when going into HHN houses but I think it’s been removed. My office at Team Disney was also used several times in the show and I love you can see where my desk would eventually be (11 years later) when they pan the camera.

This was fantastic!! I visit the parks and Springs weekly and was lucky enough to go to Pleasure Island several times “back in the day” and I was absolutely 1000% wrong about what had been where! The Adventurers Club was my favorite (i desperately hope that it will return in some iteration) and I had zero idea that The Edison now resides in the building; so cool! I can’t wait to take a walk around Springs with all of this new to me info! Thanks, Ryan!!

I was there when the Creed video was filmed. I have a bunch photos of Scott Stapp in the boat as well as his stunt double. I remember hovering as close as I could because I wanted to meet the band! 😂

The movie Oscar w/ Sylvester Stalone was filmed in the streets of NY. Many of the cobble stone roads have been smoothed over to make it easier to push strollers. You can see the cobble stone road in the shot where buffet drives the vw. Also, i remember as a kid i saw the cast of SeaQuest DSV filming. Also in the streets of NY.

Kaboom was legendary

One of the lesser-known music videos filmed at Universal Orlando was "Sempre Manana" By ex-Menudo singer Ruben Gomez. I know this because they filmed right in front of the cart I was working in front of the Palace Arcade. They kept me there because the director thought a manned cart looked better than a closed one. In the end, it didn't really matter since my boss wouldn't let me sign a release (at the time, Universal's contract with their street performer's union was very strict about that kind of thing) so if I am in the video, it's for a literal blink and you miss it.

Adored All That and The Amanda Show, although learning about all the awfulness that happened behind the scenes kinda shoots that nostalgia in the face 😩 Also, I know it’s related to the California park, but I would love if you’d investigate the UCLA Extension that used to exist at Universal Studios Hollywood’s CityWalk. Such a niche topic but the sign for the extension still stands at the CityWalk yet I can’t find hardly any information on it, even in Internet Archive or the Wayback Machine. The only source that provides info on when it opened and when it closed, as well as its relation to the former UCLA store at the CityWalk and the former nightclubs at the CityWalk, is the online archives for The Daily Bruin which is UCLA’s school paper. I would love to learn more about the history of the extension program, how it was integrated into the production side of Universal, and what the space is used for now.

Loved this video!!! All That was my favorite show as a kid. I also loved Victorious (although I was already an adult when it came out, I still watched it and thought it was funny). I remember as a kid wanting to come move to Florida because of Mickey Mouse Club and All That. I remember when Amanda Bynes started on the show, I was so jealous because I really wanted to be a cast member on that show..haha

I liked Creed when they first came out but would not pay to see them live. My son is in sometime this year and the tickets were over $400 for two. I think concerts are overpriced. That’s why I do Eat to the Beat and Garden Rocks 😊. You can’t do that on Television is my fave Nickelodeon show.

I was at Universal when the Creed video was filmed! I didn't see any actual production but I remember the flooded streets and the bus. I loved All That and just met Danny Tamberelli at a Punk Rock Flea Market last year 😊
