According to their site they are a Canadian company but are manufactured in China. I'd take that with a grain of salt though.

Hi, i am also a owner of this Amp. The best Sound for me is with the sylvania pre tubes, an Psvane KT 88 m2. I'm happy about your next Video .

I suspect the mystery roll was a special combustible material to generate some new magic smoke if the amp let's out the pre-installed magic smoke.

Hi, Glad to see this amp on your channel. The 301 MKIII was my first tube amplifier. This little amp really educated me what 6.5watts can do! I still have this amp and may bring it back into the system. I'm looking forward to your review!

Regarding the non-item you unwrapped: the avant garde artist in me wants someone to make a channel devoted to unboxing videos of elaborately--even lavishly--packaged empty boxes. Also, I'm excited to hear your thoughts on the amp.

Interesting. Looking at your previous video, I thought it was a RIAA preamp with plug-in step up transformers which in fact turned out to be red tubes. Looking at inToit Reviews video, the amp has two small-ish output transformers and a filter choke hidden inside the chassis. I'm a little bit skeptical of how these transformers would perform, but hey - give this little thing a workout :).

Mine always sounds bright. Discovered the 807 tube while tube rolling. I use it in my second system with small, dark sounding bookshelf speakers (NHT). I doubt it measures perfectly. Curious about your measurements. Edit, I just saw the two follow up videos.

I want an amp with Army tubes.... #GoArmyBeatNavy They let the caps stick out the top so when the china tubes red plate and the caps explode you get shiny aluminum pieces stuck in your ceiling
