Жыл бұрынAll are welcome to attend this chamber music tribute to Jorja Fleezanis, the late concertmaster of the Minnesota Orchestra, who died unexpectedly of natural causes on September 9, 2022. Through music and personal tributes, Jorja’s friends, family and colleagues will celebrate her extraordinary life and legacy. Jorja was the concertmaster during all of my years as CEO of the Minnesota Orchestra ( 1991-2003 ). My wife , Sally, and I were at the memorial service at Orchestra Hall in Minneapolis this last Saturday morning. This video tribute is right on the mark regarding Jorja . It is well done and well deserved. The entire service last Saturday was a great tribute to the legacy of Jorja .

The perfect tribute to a person committed to beautiful music she shared with all of you. I didn't know this woman and the only connection I have to the Minnesota Orchestra is that I spent the first 27 years of my life there DECADES ago. But this tribute is so tender that I couldn't stop listening. Thank you. This is one very lucky woman to have inspired so many people to pay tribute. This is beautiful.
