Big Shot really doesn't hit right unless you've already heard "Now's your chance to be a", it's like listening a remix without having heard the original. (tho it's more like a mashup since there are two other songs in there)

I'm pretty sure the weird noise you were hearing in big shot is a sample from the voice (the one saying "now's your chance to be a big shot")

Deltarune is a hoot. So many little things hidden...I can't wait to see how it all ties together with Undertale, if it does! BIG SHOT has some bits from other songs Toby Fox has worked on. Dummy!, Power of Neo, and The World Revolving are three of them. BIG SHOT itself is the theme of a character trying to break free from something...they don't want to be a [PUPPET] anymore.

Big shot is the song played during the fight with a boss named Spamton which is the embodiment of internet spam. I like to think the music is all over the place to symbolise the way spam is all over the internet

Also, if you play the game, get into theories (which I highly recommend) look up the lyrics to BIG SHOT. You will be shocked. 4:20 Those are the LYRICS. They get more mysterious the more you look into them. If you do these two songs, you should also listen to Berdly, Queen, Attack of the Killer Queen, Pandora's Palace, Delicate Enterance, Spamton, Now's your chance to be a. And for kicks and gigs, listen to dialtone and the circus mexed.

A bit different from a lot of the songs you've been reacting to lately, but First Burn is an absolute banger. It was the original version of Burn from Hamilton, but Lin Manuel Miranda changed it because he thought the tone was leaning more towards angry, rather than heartbroken as he wanted it to sound. Love your videos, keep up the good work~!

Toby's leitmotif addiction in full swing with these two songs. There's two competing character motifs in "smart race" and it switches about midway through (though the second one makes an early appearance in the form of that piano riff) Meanwhile "BIG SHOT" has like four leitmotifs in it. there's the main thread, lifted from "NOW'S YOUR CHANCE TO BE A", but there's also the "power of neo" theme (which itself was a variation on a part of "battle against a true hero") that takes center stage toward the beginning. On top of that, the higher pitched secondary thread that shows up near the middle is from "the world revolving", and the little jingle break segments use the "ghost fight"/"mad dummy"/"mad mew mew" theme. All leitmotifs in both songs are thematically and narratively relevant to the context in game

Speaking of BIG SHOT, and deltarune, I'd highly recommend The Stupendiums Deltarune song Ad Infinitum, which I find perfectly embodies the character Spamton (who is basically the embodyment of internet spam)

I think you'd enjoy reacting to "Hey every!", "Spamton", "Deal gone wrong", and *then* "BIG SHOT". Maybe "KEYGEN" as well just for the hell of it tbh, its a really short one anyway. Big Shot hits better when you've heard those first. Love your vids! :)

Thanks for the reaction, I really enjoyed it 😁 Spamton NEO is a hidden boss from deltarune, you might find "The World Revolving" good as well (since it is a hidden boss ost too) and if I can suggest, "Field of Hopes and Dreams" is a banger as well. Thanks for the reaction !

Hello David! I have not commented a suggestion in a while. But I'm back with two!! There's a song by Reinary. She sang Enemy forever ago! There are some gray harmony's and I'm pretty sure a whistle note or just a really high note. Also a long time ago you reacted to Helluva Boss Season 1. Well the first episode of Season 2 is now out and I would love to see your reaction to that as well. I know this is long and I'm very demanding but I really want to see someone reacts to these!

The back and forth voice you were hearing at 2:52 and 4:18 was (from what I can tell) saying, “be a be a be a be a; be now be now be now be now; be a be a be a be a; now’s your chance to be big shot be a big” (I used ;’s to indicate the ends of each measure). Also, the in-game version of this song is slightly different at 5:06, as it has a short, pitched up section of the voice lines from 3:57-4:11, whereas the ost version does not

I’ve found isolated versions and it actually says (and I think it’s supposed to be voice mixing of beatboxing): Sh-chance, sh-chance, sh-chance, sh-chance, sh-now, sh-now, sh-now, sh-now, sh-chance, sh-chance, sh-chance, sh-chance, now’s your chance to be big, now- shot to- big!
