Recently saw someone's Elvis top ten. Had so many great songs, I think you at least need a top 30! Then you would just be scraping the surface...Love this. That voice, so versatile. The backup singers, the band, the orchestea... sublime.

This is such a low key song it often gets lost in his work. I love it. It's so soft and sweet yet his voice is still so precious. I would have loved to been in the front row of this concert...better yet, I would have loved to have been the gal he may have rehearsed it to! LOL

Love this song. Elvis said he didn't like it much. But he in my opinion made it better after he sang it. I've been an Elvis fan since I was about 12 year's old. I'm 66 now. I followed him my whole life. Still listen every day

People don't realize that Elvis produced all his shows! He tells the horns and orchastra when to come in and also when the backup singers vome in and what sounds he wants. He firects the wole thing with hand and body motions!

Elvis said in a interview that he always got nervous the hour before going on stage. He was having trouble remembering the words to this song so at the last minute the guys wrote the first few lines of this song on paper.

Actually I just became a big time Elvis fan about 7 months ago. Since then I have watched video after video. I just came across this performance 2 days ago I love it. It was actually done by a guy back in the 60's by a guy B J Thomas. But by far Elvis is 100 times better. Anyway Ioved it.

Elvis never recorded this in the studio. It was only part of his set list in August 70 cause it was a top 10 hit at the time. Elvis' performance was so popular when the film TTWII came out that Elvis' version was released as a single in 71 and became a top 10 hit.

Hurt from the jungle room at Graceland. Nothing but his voice, from the first note every hair on my body, even the ones I did not know I had, rose and stood at attention until the very end! Now for me that was a triple wow reaction! Omg I could feel his pain and it tapped into any I ever felt! I will never forget the feeling of the experience!!

Probably the greatest entertainer of all time. Remember him in the 70's. Another person you might want to check out is Stevie Ray Vaughan. Way different than Elvis, but a legendary guitar prayer. Texes Flood, Voodoo Child, Sound Check

Check out Unchained Melody from his last concert in 1977. He was so sick, but that beautiful voice never failed him. He always gave 100% to his fans. The show must go on.

His band was sooo tight!! I think my favorite thing of your reactions is that you recognize Jerry Scheff on bass. He has such a funky style. Elvis presley King of music Unfortunately, a lot of the times it has to do with the rights to songs. That is what happened a few years ago when they released the Blue Ray version of Elvis on Tour they left out the intro with Johnny B Goode because they couldn’t get the rights to the song.

@@ct8755Yes that's true with Elvis On Tour. But the person who did the deluxe version left out the songs because they didn't fit in with the other songs that he left in. He did an interview years ago now with a Elvis magazine that I buy and he explains it in there

@@johngibsonmusic Elvis was fantastic in the seventies but the essence of Elvis and what makes him legendary is the early years and early sixties Nashville some of Elvis's greatest moments are very seldom talked about or notice so talented in many different ways only half of his talents are even talked about at least half of them are notice hopefully the other half will be someday thank you
