Good,thoughtful reaction and I agree with you wholeheartedly. I enjoy the informal jam/last minute rehearsal vibe they have here, like you say, with a cut down kit giving the room some sound. It's a very simple song made great by everyone having their part totally under control... And the vocals ? Paolo Nutini.. No further comment required.

Scotland and Ireland are friends, fellow Celts, but everyone hates the English. Lol Great choice, beautiful song. He does some amazing covers as well, but that would be a two-part video, because you'd have to listen to the original too. Recover originally by Chvrches is a great cover. Paolo sings it on a BBC Live Lounge show. Or the Beatles' Don't Let Me Down. Paolo sang that on a radio show, so no video, just audio. You could choose anything, but I thought a cover could be fun. Enjoy more goosebumps.

Great review. Don't sweat the Irish thing. To further enrich your knowledge of the region the Celtic race is pronounced Keltic. The Celtic football team is pronounced Seltic.

The other two guys are brass. They played on another track on this session. They didn't play on this track but it was too much hassle to get them out of there.
