We said it once and we'll say it again. ATEEZ's THE WORLD EP. FIN : WILL is one an insane album. Been awhile (sorry) so here's the recap yet again - we had We Know, Emergency, Crazy Form (미친 폼), Arriba, Silver Light, as well as Crescent Part 2 and most recently, Dreamy Day - the perfect transition to the B side of the album.
MATZ is something else altogether. Now, despite its difference, we think MATZ is still very much connected to the overall lore of the album, but forget all that - THE MUSIC WAS CRAZY GOOD. Is Hoongjoong and Seonghwa our favourite duo ever? Yes.
Next time, it's going to be 'It's You' by the YEOSANG, SAN, WOOYOUNG line - and for sure, this is going to be one of the best albums ever.

The way Hongjoong and the rest of the producer team were thinking of ‘Thank U’ part 2 for their unit song (a calm cute song about their friendship) when Hwa turns to him like ‘I’ve always wanted to try rap and hip-hop 🥺’ and Hongjoong said ‘say lessssss’ and come out with this banger instead 😭 proud is an understatement.

Honestly the Matz video and especially the lyrics live in my head rent free. I think "again we turn up" and "you can be busy too" to myself a couple of times a day. This is grimy and full of attitude and I love it.❤

I was so excited to see you guys finally react to matz! thanks for showing a lot of love! the boys said that the first idea for the unit song was much different but seonghwa really had hip hop in his heart and so with seonghwa's idea, hongjoong pushed hard to produce it and make it great! they make a great team!

Agree with everything, sooo good!! Although I like other genres even more so I'm expecting another Matz song but this time rock or a blend with it! In fact, in the Matz production behind(you guys have to watch it even if in your own, very cool!), spoiling that Hongjoong was working with that genre initially :') And they both love rock and said in the past that they would like to form a duo and do rock, and also were Hongjoong would sing and Seonghwa rap! So even tho I'm happy with Matz I still want that to happen Ik I will love it even more!🥺

I read somewhere that Hongjoong said he and Seonghwa went through over 400 sound files to produce this song. It's aimed at those crazy fans who buy their numbers and then phone them during lives, a fan even put a GPS on their Kia Carnival one time. But all that aside, I love this song from them. so glad you loved it! when they announced the names for the tracks i think more atiny thought we were getting something heartfelt like Thank You (친구), which is a song that Hongjoong wrote for Seonghwa. But Seonghwa actually convinced him to do this kind of track and i am so glad they did 😭 if you are curious, they have a video on thr recording and behinds :) maybe something for the patreon? Also yes, Hongjoong might be pocketsized but he is fierce haha
