This entire video from start to finish was so wonderful to watch. Felt a little emotional too. Muslim hikers have done an absolutely incredible job creating a community and making the outdoors so inclusive and accessible to ALL faiths and communities. I can't believe Arcteryx has stooped this low. It's absolutely disgraceful to see a company I once respected leverage a political agenda as a mere marketing tool. This is a shameful exploitation of serious issues for profit, and it completely alienates your loyal customers. I'm utterly disappointed and disgusted. This is the final straw-I'm done supporting Arcteryx.

And I'll tell you what. It plays a role for me. You go on their site and you see stories about gear and tips. You don't see disingenuous pandering. Nature two gives two fucks about race, gender, religion, size or any of it. They know their lane. But Arc' has turned in to nothing but a fashion brand. TNF style. OR is still for people who actually use shit. If they could just get their sizing more uniformed....

Since EVERY group now needs to be represented by something that's open for ANYONE who wants to do it, I'm a Humanist which pretty means atheist. It's very fair to say that we're an oppressed group.
