For example Christ calls himself “the first and the last” but if I walk into a pizza shop as the first customer then come again and am the last customer, I could say to the pizza owner “I’m the first and the last” because the context which is apparently clear. However if you were to write the story out, you have to specify what was meant with the statement, “I’m the first and the last (customer of the store)” so the Quran is either making an apparent contradiction, or it is poorly written (and is not a clear guidance, lol)

No contradiction. As prophets were set to different nations, with the same message. Each prophet testifies that he is the first one to declare that he submit his will to one true Lord. So all the propehets did the same thing. Submitting to Allah is called the Muslim. Else, think whatever one wants. Each soul will return to Allah, and He will settle the disputes that people make among themselves.
