In Muslim countries we have a halal version of everything! So if you live in a muslim country you don't need to worry about snacks

For a second I was like ‘have I been eating not halal foods?’ But then I remembered I am in a Muslim country and they have halal versions of everything

Some kinds of Gelatin come from halal sources like Cows (Baqarah) and not always from Pig, so if you live in a muslim country this is much more likely to happen. if you don't then make sure to check the labels

Muslims in non Muslim countries: Make a thousand enquiries before drinking a glass of water Meanwhile Muslims in Muslim Countries: doing blind dates with food because we have the vegan, if not halal version of literally almost everything💀 But jokes apart, it's so beautiful to see those Muslims struggling to hold on to their Deen. I learnt something at my last job. We put marshmallows in babychinos and hot chocolate. These ladies in hijabs ask me if they're halal and I just stand there like "uuuuh... do you want to see the ingredients?" And I gave them the packet and they said its not halal. Afterwards I asked them what makes them not halal and they kindly explained and I was so grateful. I definitely learnt something new. Another day, someone asked the same question and I can quickly inform them, straightaway that they're not. It's always good to learn about these things in hospitality imo

In my country they make a halal version of every snack and if it is not halal than they will keep it in another designated area

I’m in uae so everything’s halal 😁 but there are some sections in a supermarket called spinneys and they have non Muslim section

I live in India and I never really worry about these things because a lot of things here have a pure vegetarian green mark on it and that really helps us muslims as well ✨

I think it depends on the county like i live in UAE which is a muslim county so every food there is halal except the bars so when u go to a local market everything there is halal like :cheetos ,lays , gummy bears etc .

Most of these products has a halal version you can find in Saudi Arabia grocery stores

Btw, In my country, we have halal certification. So manufacturers would consider making halal versions if they want to get high selling. Or, if the product is definitely not halal, it would notify us on the packaging/ingredients list. Also there are supermarkets that separate the halal and non-halal products. It reminds me how thankful I should'v been, living in a Muslim-majority country allows me to have everything halal easier. Seeing your videos is really interesting. Please do more of these reviews!

As someone who’s looking at converting soon I literally started crying when I thought that I couldn’t eat Nutella (from seeing the video thumbnail). Then you said it’s okay to eat it and was relieved.

Allhamdulilah For Living in a Muslim country. An Islamic state is a really great Gift from Allah. We don't have to worry about every single item.

Not all marshmallows have pig gelatin, so if you want to buy marshmallows I recommend checking the gelatin type even if you live in a Muslim country. Personally, I wouldn't buy it if it just says it has "gelatin" in it. Same with the pop tarts, I think that the gazed ones are the not halal ones (not sure so please correct me if I'm wrong) but they do sell the glazed ones in Muslim countries so maybe those are also halal, I'm really not sure

It's actually fun and rewarding when you know what the ingredients are and where they come from. I had a huge appreciation and gratitude for food that otherwise would not get from living in a muslim country. Alhamdulillah.

Not sure why animal enzymes are haram. Doritos have mentioned on their website that none of their products contain pork or alcohol based products besides doritos cheeseburger flavour

In muslim countries like Pakistan, we have halal certified food so we don't need to worry If it's imported, stuff like doritos cuz she said that it's not halal,then I think we should not eat it

Not all gelatin is animal products. You can use tree gum such as Gum arabic. I use it as a thickener and to make my own incense.

When I moved from England to Qatar I was delighted to find out that EVERYTHING was halal! I could buy everything without having to check if it was suitable for vegetarian.

I'm so glad we have halal version of all these snacks in Muslim countries. In Bangladesh, we have marshmallows that usually have halal gelatine containing beef, so we can easily enjoy it.

There are some marshmallows that are halal and btw the rice Krispies snap there is qnother one of that but its halal also the red Doritos are allowed

i live in indonesia where the populations are mostly muslim..and fyi.. all those snacks (except pop tart coz i dont think they sell em here so i dont really know :")) are halal yeayy , doritos, cheetos and lays (but sadly theyre not available here anymore 😭😭. They changes them with a different brand but same exact concept. anw..marshmallows here are halal 😍 same as oreos (but they dont really have a huge variety of the flavours :")) . if you guys maybe have a plan on having a trip here.. no more worries about food ,snacks and drinks here (also protip.. all types of food that are halal, they'll have this halal logo on the pakcaging meaning that its 100% halal certified from the government hope that helps and may Allah bless you 😃😁💖💖💖

I have a 2 really big questions I'm obsessed with drawing fictional characters(anime/kawaii/cartoon that stuff) and reacently I found out that it was haram after my friend told me so I searched online and there are mixed result some saying it is okay some saying it is not okay some saying it is good to avoid it even if it's not haram etc. and I'm very confused because I love art and giving it up is like losing someone I love. So basically I ain't to know Is drawing fictional characters haram? Second question I love crochet and knitting and I love making plushies and toys like baby cats and stuff like that and I'm not sure if it's haram since I'm not idolizing them I just really love these two hobbies and it hard to give it up and they have eyes so I'm not super sure if it's aloud in Islam. We're quite lucky in the UK. We can have Doritos and oreos. I always look for vegetarian certification. Certain things like desserts I have to really check because sometimes there's alcohol in them. Aldi is really, really good for making their own supermarket branded products vegetarian.
