Must Do's when visiting Asheville North Carolina: Brewery Hopping, restaurants & exploring downtown

This video shows you why Asheville is called Beer City! There are so many of them and they all have really good beer. The restaurant scene here is a foodies dream as well. Asheville North Carolina is situated on the Blue Ridge Parkway and is a must see if you are in the area. In this video we visited some of the top breweries in Asheville Downtown area as well as a Gin Distillery and adjacent bar which was our favorite stop on the trip. We hope you visit this amazing city and have as much fun as we did. Thank you for watching and as always safe travels

Thank you for the compliment and for watching! Asheville is one of our favorite spots. We live only about 2 hours from there so we go frequently. You guys should visit.. there is so much to do and the breweries are everywhere. Great city….safe travels

What would your recommendation be fore places to stay

Well we have stayed at a few places. If you have a little more money Hotel Indigo is really nice, but we have also stayed at Downtown Inn and Suites which is very budget friendly and located right in the middle of downtown. Hope that helps

@@boblex3985 thank you for the compliment. Asheville is such a fun place. Then downtown inn is the place for you, but it’s not a fancy hotel….which 95% of the hotels we stay at aren’t fancy, but the beds are comfortable and the location is great. Also if you like great Caribbean food try 9 mile….have fun!

The title says Brewery Hopping, so no there’s a lot more to do, however for this video we wanted to try as many breweries as we could spread out over 3 days. We also went rafting and zip lining in another video if you’d be interested in that. Asheville is known for the breweries and restaurants….thanks 😊

Crime is very high. Most of the police quit. I visited a couple of months ago and my wife and I were hassled by a homeless man. He would not leave us alone. Limited parking downtown. We went during 4th of July when two men tried to blow up the center of downtown with a bomb. We saw a woman running around in her bra and panties. Never again would we return. Horrible.

Holy cow, that’s crazy!! Sorry you had a very unpleasantly eventful trip. Yes, it seems like crime rates are up almost everywhere, and the lack of police resources and not prosecuting criminals is making it worse. We went to New Orleans earlier this year and our car was broken in to. It’s sad to see crime rates high…especially in tourist towns, hopefully this gets better.
