Notice the abundance of local railfan's adjacent to the crossing filming this special train! Railroads that utilize this crossing, Cape Cod Central Railroad, Mass Costal, and the MBTA Commuter Rail.

Thanks for sharing this! I've always passed over and by this railroad crossing and it's tracks while heading to the Hyannis mall, and I've always wondered what it looks like activated!

This crossing is currently under construction this crossing is planned to have 2 extra signals which have not been set up yet, causing for the gates to not be put up yet. they are working on it, as the new signals are on and the old traffic signals are gone. but i got one of the visors from on of the traffic signals

@@owentherailfan564 I'd love to see what gates here look like once in place. Video or still images. This is what, 5 or 6 lanes? Plus crosswalks with a traffic light 5 car lengths after the tracks.

1. It’s on a big road, and that Cantilever exists for a big reason. 2. If that crossing didn’t have that Cantilever, making such large gates be extremely heavy for the mechanisms. 3. Trust me, There are MORE BIGGER crossings then this one.
