liznm yes! they really are amazing. all of their behavior is so fascinating. this my first time watching a nest from the beginning, when they are hatched. i’m learning so much. it’s so sad about the little one who fell.

Parents were hunting. This Goshawk was a juvenile. I never saw such a long threat.

It was a juvenile. I think he will not come back. I think he found easier prey for his exercise. I hope it! I never saw such a long threat. Usually it takes a fraction of a second, then they are successful. If they are not, they stay away if the prey is too big. This one was very inexperienced. A big bad luck for our third chick.

There is a way with mother nature that works too benefit the whole. It's when humans interfere that the balance is upset and animals become less healthy and disease starts to affect all of them. How wrong you are. They keep the other bird and animals in check and keep the population healthier. It's been proven that when you remove the predators from the area, the habitat degrades and becomes less healthy. There are more sick and starving animals and diseases start affecting the rest of them. Don't think that just because it's a raptor that it doesn't have it's own enemies!!!
